If for nothing other than showing he is competitive, look for Beck to make a strong effort to equal, if not surpass the performance of Grossman against the Steelers. This is the perfect opportunity for him.

I'm pretty sure I heard on CSN that Friday was the first time he had ever fielded a punt in a game. That said, I hope the experiment is short lived.

But AR was not just bad, he was really bad, and made some very poor decisions. He was as off as a Shayne Graham field goal attempt.

I say give Austin a chance.

I would have liked to see Beck against the Steelers first-team instead of the Colts.

AR has to learn to look the ball all the way into his hands before he looks up field.
