I think Cook is borderline.

I had higher hopes for Capers, but I can't see any way he makes it. Maybe practice squad at best

Re: Training camp 2011 thread

its disappointing that our OL is still fairly weak.

D looks good (shaky CBs though), skill positions are depth'd out, QB is average, OL is eh.

next draft/offseason I imagine we'll be looking QB/OL/OL/CB. depth isn't the issue really, we just don't have a true #1 CB imho. OL still could use upgrades to the starters at OG/C/RT. ours are passible, and it's not going to doom the season, but this definitely isn't the hogs.

Why wait? That's what we have to look forward to next year. Besides, the analysts already started talking about next year's draft just as soon as this years' ended.

I usually like to wait the first half of the first regular season game before I give up on the season

Pretty strong words to call someone out for "giving up" on the season, especially when that wasn't how that comment wasn't intended at all. Just sayin' it's never to early to start looking at your team in the long term. Besides, if you've seen any of my posts on this board you'd know I'm not one of the doomsayers.

well, if we don't find them in the roster cutdowns, that's the next chance to upgrade the roster. and roster cuts aren't going to give us great long term starting options in all likelyhood.

I saw it reported too...either Paulsen or Chris Russell...while the team was playing Indy, I think? Not sure how that happened since he wasn't on the field.

Skins had practice today. LL tweaked his hamstring and so he remains on the PUP list.

Re: Training camp 2011 thread

I stand corrected as per MS, LL tweaked hamstring while working out in Indie.
