The guy is not even a starter in Arizona, he's a backup. I thought they wanted starter material?

It probably has been said, but Liegh Liegh Torrence is available. I think we should sign him for depth. He would be a good fifth corner.

That's a good question.

Re: 2009 Free Agents

Hall was a expected sign. so I don't count him. Doc fell into our laps backwards so I dont count that either. AH was our only calculated FA move thus far. And now nothing except for a moronic old man punter who is no better than Plack. So AH and Johnson. They cut JT. And yes Im going to say it. They should have brought Evans back or Talked to JT earlier about workouts and cut him weeks ago then we could have signed Canty and been done with DE. Maybe FO has a crystal ball but it seems they are content with AH but not very agressive otherwise.

How do you know we weren't going to make a splash for the O-line? It's not the redskins fault that Dockery was released by the Bills. Im sure they would have made a quick swoop in for O-line help if Dock wasn't signed. Either way we got O-line help.

I don't. And Im happy Doc worked out for us. Im not complaining about that. But since signing AH we seem very reserved. Unless you consider Johnson a priority.

Re: 2009 Free Agents

I'm really baffled about us not pursuing Angelo Crowell especially since London Fletcher was encouraging the move. Any other OLBs on the radar?

When did Fletcher say they should sign him? If thats true, then I think they will. He was Jery Grays LB, when they were top 5 in the league. Maybe he is just figuring out how much we should pay him.

The longer he's on the market means not that many teams are interested which in turn means his price tag will continue to fall. Maybe that's their thinking.

Exactly, I think the FO is looking for discount given he's had a history of knee problems. I think Crowell could be a solid starter (given he's healthy) for 1-2 years.

Well, what I was trying tosay is maybe they made an offer and he did not like it. So, he is out there trying to establish a value for himself that we can match if we want to. Assuming he wants to play with Gray and Fletcher.
