I use to sell chemicals and we had a product called cherry bomb. I was in the Atlanta airport security line. It is literally a mile long if you have ever been to that airport. There were a couple of co-workers about twenty people ahead of me. We were sort of shouting back and forth and I used the word cherry bomb. I immediately realized what i had said. I remember standing there with my head down waiting to be tackled.

And federal crime? Is everyone serious? So how many Federal agents rushed to the scene when this happened? Come on- I know Aldon Smith has problems, but this should be the least of them. But since he and some 49ers have had legal problems, this is being blown all out of proportion.

If you watch the tmz video- you can hear LAPD snickering because they know that this is bs and not a real threat too. They should know. This is Hollywood's airport.

I doubt anyone missed their flight because of this. It looks like the incident happened after he was taken away from the line for the random secondary search.

Inconvenience in the security line if at all? This guy was taken to a security area and not holding anyone up. But you're still taking about inconvenience vs federal crime/terrorist act just because it was at an airport. Just cut the bs.

Actually according to the report, he became belligerent and made the comment at the terminal screening area which would completely hold people up. He was not in some room alone with agents when this occurred.

Why would the secondary screening be random then?

.. When you're in the secondary screening area- you're away and isolated- not in a room- but still away from the main area. You must've never been "randomly" searched.

You're not holding anyone up at that point.
