Dak did his on a pretty talented team with a great O-line and a dynamic running back. Jimmy G took over a 1-10 team that has glaring holes every where.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
I would rather Draft a QB who is excited about being on the team and have a will to win, than overpay Cousins. I have been a big Cousins supporter since he was drafted, but i just cant get over his MO of not being able to win the big games at the big moments. plus i just don't think he truly wants to be a Redskin. i cant say i blame him after all the drama.
But i have gone to the side of the camp that believes the best way to win in this league in the future is going to be to continue to draft well, and that includes the qb position. |

I think and assume 1. We all want Kirk back as fans. 2. BA and DS don't think Kirk is worth the big $ 3. Kirk doesn't really want to be here anymore due to those 2 fucktards. 4. Kirk will be in Denver next yr

Garapolo and kyle will make a good team there, when the upgrade thru F/A nd the draft they will be a MUCH better team next year. Hell they almost beat us because of incompetant playcalling.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
A big question is, how much has this debacle set us back as a team? Did it prevent us from truly investing in a better option than Pryor? Or sign quality depth on both lines?
Is the lukewarm responses from Kirk demoralizing to a team trying to build chemistry? i see very few examples of a team succeeding when the QB isn't the true general on the field. The person that people want to follow into battle. Die by. I cant help but feel like the uncertainty with the cap, and his presence have really set us back more than people realize. So what is the dfference now? We rebuild with a 30 mil qb and try to figure out how to make it work or we rebuild with a rookie that is team friendly deal for the next 4 years. |

Significant change in KCs tone. Very interesting comments on the coaching staff. Comments on winning added to first real comments that he wants to stay tells me he believes skins really are close. |

I'm off the fence. Sign this guy. Character counts in leadership positions and he's got it.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Everyone should catch as many of the clips of him speaking as they can - don't read about what he said but actually watch his facial expressions, body language, and mannerisms as he speaks and reacts to the questions.
I come away knowing deep down that his heart is here and that he believes in the staff and the organization. It's incredibly comforting. I also come away unbelievably impressed by his perceptiveness. He can identify skill sets in people - the way he assesses Gruden's playcalling and gameplanning, McVay, Garcon, he is perceptive and insightful. All in all, if you watch it, I think you walk away knowing this guy is going to continue to get better and better and better. He may not be the playmaker like Wentz or Rodgers but he's so intelligent, self aware, humble, hard working and introspective that you know he's going to keep improving. And it's clear he doesn't want us to kill ourselves money wise. Just give him good guarantees. If he decides to leave, it won't be because of money, it will be because he feels at home somewhere else. And if that's the case it's a shame, but it is what it is, and godspeed and good luck.
