Seems there's no convincing you. But let's just remember there's this little thing called Congress. And remember Obama's not the only person running for reelection in November.

Again, was acknowledgement of the reality. He didn't throw anyone under the bus.

And if it was about dodging voters, wouldn't he put ALL legislation on hold?

A little interesting fact, no Republican candidate for office has ever won the presidency without winning the state of Ohio. It's still really early, but the president seems to be opening up a lead there.

"The Romney campaign will give us access to some of their networks but it will be our responsibility to raise the money," Gingrich spokesman R.C. Hammond said. "While campaigning in support of Romney, the party, and congressional candidates, we will also hold separate events to raise money to pay off debts."
nothing like buying someones support

Not back to this again...lol

Can we finally close this thread and move everything over to the Presidential election thread since it's down to Romney and Obama.

Did you read the article? Actually interesting, and not a birther stance.

SS33, I'm willing to give you an additional 5% warpath friend discount.
How's things, I hope you're doing well. I've been crushed with work and some other stuff, everything's good tho. Got a break this evening and was thinking about our wager. Did a quick search to find this...LOL. I'm still all-in, no buy-back for me.

Here's what will be Obama's undoing in Nov. more than jobs, economy, or whatever else comes up....his HHS mandate. It's a direct attack on the Catholic Church and religious freedom in the U.S. Two good articles on the issue:

Obama alienates electorally important Catholic voters - The Washington Post

The Audacity of Power: President Obama Vs. The Catholic Church - Forbes

The Catholic Church cuts across the entire political-socio-economic spectrum moreso than any other religious institution in the U.S. Obama carried the Catholic vote in 2008, he won't in 2012 because of the HHS mandate. There are 65M Catholics in the U.S., if this issue causes just 10% to swing....Obama is finished and it won't be close. Watch for the Stand Up for Religious Freedom rallies on June 8, I expect the turn-out will be strong. I'm sure other Catholics here can attest that they've never seen the Church mobilize so forcefully against a political issue before.

I am doing well, been quite busy lately too...glad to know all it's all good.

As for not wanting to buy back your bet, well, we all miss on opportunities now and then and learn from our mistakes. Rest assured the money will be put to good use.

The Catholic church is an institution that has self-destructed. It is bleeding parishioner on a daily bases and the 65 million figure doesn't really give you an indication who is catholic by name and whether they agree with the Obama care and the birth control provision. I believe the entire church's stance is to support Obamacare except for birth control.

One more thing, what is the statistics on the birth control provision when it comes to catholic men vs women? How does your wife feel about it?
