Yeah I know Sammy, but Ponder at the very least would make a decent backup. Grossman is gone after this season, and if you draft a guy it is just Beck and the draftee. Would have been nice to have a 3rd guy in the mix for emergenices. |

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Our offense has been holding this team back for years. We need to find the damn end zone more than not. I want to Beck with a full week of pratice with the 1st team. We also have 2 injured O-lineman so that will hurt us even more on offense.
Defense grade A- Offense grade C-

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
his ego wont let him admit he made horrible decisions and horrid playcalling. We threw FOUR INTs and our defense keeps us within one score. This game is 50% on grossman, 50% on shanahan, and 100% on both of em together. after that showing, rex should be cut.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
A hell of a lot more than, "I don't know" type of answers. A little personal responsibility doesn't hurt. I don't expect him to crucify himself, but he's as much accountable for this loss and the guys out on the field.

Ill take holding the Eagles offense to 20 points all take all freakin day. So say what you will, but when you hold them to 20 at our place, we shoulda won. half the damn 20 were given to the eagles by our freakin offense .

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
I agree Ruh, but you have to take something from each game, even if it is just learning something about your team. Beck should be the man the rest of the way. With him, maybe we can salvage something. We are 3-2, still above .500 and plenty of football left. Six to seven more wins should be good enough for the playoffs. There is no excuse for a team with this type of talent not to at least make the Wildcard round.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Hey like B Mitch said, David Garrard is still on the free agent market. Not that I support that, but I'll just play devils advocate and say what if. What if.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
If Rex starts next week. I may just change the channel when our offense is on the field to save me from having a heart attack
