Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
All that's clear is that he really wants to get to free agency. But that's just the means. What we don't know is the end.
Does he want to get to free agency because he wants to find a better situation to play in? Or does he want to get to free agency because he really wants to be a Redskin, but wants to drive up his guarantees as much as possible? That we can't possibly know. It's obvious he wants to get to free agency, but why? We don't know. But it doesn't necessarily mean he wants to leave.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
I think all we really know is he wants a LTD.
I think he’s done with this year to year drama. Where he wants it from is the multi million dollar question. |

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
I’ll venture a guess he doesn’t even know where yet. He just wants to be able to weigh all his options and make the best decision possible.

Per Gruden to Dan Steinberg:
"For the most part, the great quarterbacks are in the same system year in and year out, and are developing in that system.*[Teams are]*not holding our breath every March and April, waiting for the guy. But if that's the case, that's the case. But we like Kirk and his development. He's played well at times, without a doubt, proven that he's a good starting NFL quarterback." Every time he complinents Cousins there is always a qualifier in there. Its so weird. "At Times". Why throw that in there? Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Its just an observation and this isn't the first time its happened.
I'm the 5% that actually wouldn't mind seeing Cousins walk, so I'm not bothered by it. Just interesting to me as I don't see the benefit to it.

Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Yeah just saying it’s pointless to try to read into everything. I’m sure Gruden would rather have him back than to start over with someone else. He just wants it settled either way like we all do.
You think only 5% would be ok with him walking?? It’s much higher than that. |

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Cousins is holding the Redskins hostage and I'm tired of it. His first priority is getting his freedom, not necessarily resigning w/ the Redskins. That bothers me. I want a guy that's "all in" as someone use to say. He's not.
He's not signing before March 6th so I'd try and trade him.The Browns have plenty of cap space to absorb 34 million and they have the 1st and 4th picks of the 1st round. They'd be my first call. |
