Re: Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage
Probably more so, but in Campbells defense Gibbs just can't let go of Brunell, he is reserved to the fact that he will not give up until he proves Brunell was a good move. So I don't believe it's campbells inabilities right now because any young QB has to have playing time to really develope, his situation has more to do with Gibbs fascination with his boy Brunell.

Re: Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage
im not a huge "bench holdman" guy, but youd like to think that rocky has worked himself into a few more packages. im not saying holdman has played poorly, but rocky is supposed to be our future at that position.

Re: Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage
True, but saftey is a little more complicated than weakside LB, a LB may get beat for a firstdown, where as a saftey gets beat it's a TD, more reads go along with the saftey position as well. I don't think Rocky is a bust but I do think at this point it doesn't make sense to play an inferior LB in Holdman ahead of Rocky, it's time for on the job training.

i agree there. if anything, play an extra LB every now and then and at least get him in some game situations.

McIntosh Is doin' his thing on special teams though. I think his speed will definitely be an asset with his coverage skills. Gregg Williams needs to come off his " I don't play rookies" high horse he's on! HAIL from MCUSA!

So much for bringing in McIntosh, I saw him mis a tackle on addia, that he was right in front of. He may be another bust.

Re: Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage
GW will play rookies. ST played his first game and was starting by his third. that was to fight his sense of entitlement though, not because of talent issues. rodgers had foot issues, but was playing a lot his first year as well.
i think if rocky could play better than holdman, GW woul stick him out there. at this point, we might as well start him though. we're not going anywhere, so let's see if we need another OLB or if he can figure it out... holdman is clearly NOT the answer. |

Re: Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage
why is it certain coaches have a lovefest with certain players? holdman cant play, but williams keeps troting him out there week after week. i guess i could say the same thing about gibbs and brunell. man, those 5 yard passes brunell threw yesterday made his stats look pretty good
