He damn sure could have done as well as Brunell if not better! How good do you have to be to lead a team to a 3-6 record?
could not agree more...this has been a long time coming, and it was willful blindness that led us to keeping us in. its sad that he will end this way, but we placed way too much faith in a declining talent for far too long.

ps.- taylor prob played his Worst game ever yesterday. weak.

Yeah, rip the guy who just threw his FOURTH interception of the year.

We could've had Johnny Unitas in his prime playing for us against the Eagles and we would've lost...because it wasn't the QB who made us get clobbered. It was the defense's inability contain Philly's big plays and Clinton Portis' broken hand (yes Betts DID do well and Duckett ran well a couple of times, but we NEED CP).

However, with a 3-6 record, I'm all for getting Campbell his snaps and experience to get him ready for next year. If Campbell doesn't do well, don't jump ship on him. Remember how BAD Alex Smith was in his first season? He had a QB rating of 11 one game. This year, he looks a lot better.

I'll rip him and rip him good. If you're going to throw the ball away without even TRYING to make a play, an INT is inexcusable. I would be far less worried if he's at least throwing the ball downfield, but fuck, if he's throwing this five yard out shit, he has NO BUSINESS throwing INTs.
