Re: What's your pet peeve?
- with TMC on the walking to the store thing. i have half a mind to mow them down, but don't want to damage my car. However, once I get a Bull Bar installed on my Mountaineer, it's fair game.
- People who say "We" instead of "You", like they want to take credit for it, or feel like they want to be involved. For example, when your wife asks "Have WE told the neighbors about their dog's barking all hours of the night?" when you know damn well she'll never confront them about it and is really asking if you've done it. - People who act like they've never been to McDonald's before and take 5 minutes at the front of the line to decide what they want, instead of taking 2 damn minutes to read the board before it's their turn.

Re: What's your pet peeve?
My wife is the same way. She'll tell me something, I give her my view and advice and she gets mad. So I don't say much and just listen, then she wonders why I don't have an opinion about some things or talk more. It's like, make up your freakin' mind.

Re: What's your pet peeve?
If WOMEN have a problem, all they want to do is talk about it, discuss it, have you say you'll do it this way, but when MEN have a problem and you actually want to have a rational discussion, they want no part of it.

Re: What's your pet peeve?
@AMD: Good work on the Family Guy quote ... that is my favorite episode.
@SBF: There have been a few times when I was driving down the road, and somebody's lit cigarette almost came into my window. I would have probably run them off the road, and beat them with my tire iron if that had happened. @TMC: You know someone with a "palace"? That's sweet.

Did you get a standing O? Because I certainly would have at least started one...

Re: What's your pet peeve?
One peeve that I've developed lately is people who are big time slackers at work. I'm not saying I'm Mr. 110% effort at work, but I get my damn job done everyday. I hate the slackers who are constantly socializing and then wonder why they fall behind, and then want to blame management for an "unreasonable workload". Do your work, stop hanging out and talking for hours on end, and just maybe you'll get your work done on time!

Re: What's your pet peeve?

1) If you've got a baby (can't talk yet) then make sure you stay at places like Applebees or TGI Fridays. Babies don't belong in nice restaurants. They can scream all they want in an Applebees, if people don't like it there they can go to hell. You pay for what you get. 2) If they're toddlers or older: - No getting up from the table (nothing is worse than when parents let their kids play around the table or, God forbid, run around) - No turning around and staring at other customers. - No whining of any kind. - No fighting with siblings. - No throwing food. - Sit your butt in the chair with legs under the table, and quietly eat your food. Rule number 2 applies anywhere, whether you're in McDonalds' or a four-star restaurant. The parents must have a trump card up their sleeve to make the kids behave, ie no triple chocolate snickers cake for dessert if you don't behave.

Re: What's your pet peeve?
LOL
Just order an extra glass of wine, tell the waiter to put it in this sippy cup, and tell the little tyke it's grape juice.
