Re: A Playoff question: Campbell or Collins?
I say if JC is 100% you go with him. That said there is 0% chance he is ready by the first round of the playoofss if he isn't even running right now. It just isn't going to happen. Collins gets the nod until JC is able to take full control in my mind. Let's hope it is a problem we have to deal with.

Re: A Playoff question: Campbell or Collins?
This is tough for me. I love JC, and he is our future, but I guess he really isn't our now. Our now has Collins at 3-0 (2-0 as an official starter). You have to play the hot hand. I don't think anyone doubts JC's ablility, but if it ain't broke don't fix it.
If we beat Dallas on Sunday and Jason is "ready" for to play, I just don't think we can take the chance. If ain't broke don't fix it, right? Stupid cliche but true in this case. JC is coming of a leg injury, so who knows how his conditioning will be? His timing will be off after the offense has gotten used to Todd for what will be over a month should the time come... I say you stick with what's working. No discredit to JC's work this year, but Todd is the guy right now. It's pretty obvious if you ask me. Turnovers are WAY down since he took the reins.

Re: A Playoff question: Campbell or Collins?
when i first stated the jc needed to be sat down. that he wasn't ready to lead this team, and collins should be starting who's been in al saunders offence for the past 6 or 7 years should be starting i was called everything from drunk to crazy!!! a few of you even stated that you weren't going to watch the games after jc got hurt. i want to give smootsmack a thank you for sincerly asking my opinion and not just try to shut me out by telling me to "layoff the sauce"

Re: A Playoff question: Campbell or Collins?
look at the numbers over three games, TC has 4TDs no INT 60pct of his completions and about 235 yards per game. If you remove the stats from NYG game where the wind screwed up the passing game, he's averaging 75pct of completions. Todd is a beast, I'm not one of those JC haters, not at all, but as long as I' almost sure he won't be 100pct in a couple of weeks, stick to TC if we make the playoffs.

The bottom line is that you have to play your best QB. Who's playing well right now can be a mirage: the idea is to play the guy who WILL play the best, not HAS played the best. After three impressive games from Collins, I still have no reason to think he's better than a healthy Campbell. Do you?

Re: A Playoff question: Campbell or Collins?
Collins is a great story... just his being away from the game all that time and making an impact like he is is amazing. He appears to be more in pace with Moss and WR core overall.
Thank you Santa for this new Redskin attitude...fun to watch !!!! |

Re: A Playoff question: Campbell or Collins?
that's hard, but i'd probably just keep collins in right now.
campbell has been fumbling a bit, and saunders has been using a crappier (no downfield) gameplan with him, even though deep is what he does best :/. |

Again, however, there is no chance JC can be at 100% in the next month, so I don't think it's a difficult decision who starts - Collins. If we're talking hypotheticals, though, then a 100% healthy (including conditioning) JC would have to get the start over Collins, because he is simply a better QB.

Collins is undefeated...you do not mess with what works. Collins is my pick.
