Re: Congrats to our fellow NFC East team- The Giants

It makes me absolutely sick to see the Giants in the Super Bowl, but at least we won't have to put up with the Brett Favre love fest for the next two weeks (I like that about as much as hearing anything flattering about the Cowboys). I would be shocked to see the Giants keep within two touchdowns of the Patriots, though. I see the Patriots winning big, kinda like the the 49ers did to the Broncos many moons ago!

I'm not a Giants fan.. At all. I kinda hate every team in the NFC East except the Skins. But at this point its almost a thing of the lesser of two evils: Pats or Giants? I don't wanna make that decision.

Do you really want to see the cocky Pats go undefeated? I can't. This is easy for me, go G-men.

if you guys think the pats are going to run all over the Giants, you'd better think again. this team has been underdogs since week 11 or 12.
they will be much loser than the pats come game day.

it will go down to the wire - one of the greatest upsets in sports history.

I have been wrong about Eli Manning for the past 4 weeks but there is no way I will be wrong about him in the Superbowl. He is going to suck. Bank on it. I think the Pats are going to run away with this one.

That was a hell of a game. I was out at a bar watching with mostly Giants fans and the place was going crazy when they won. We can only hope the Super Bowl will be half as exciting as that game was.

Its only gonna be dull if the entire game is just the Pats bending over the Giants. I might actually tune in.

Re: Congrats to our fellow NFC East team- The Giants

The difference between this game and the first one is, first its on neutral ground. Second you got a HOF QB that has been there 3 times vs. a QB who was barely a legit QB before the playoffs started. And most important the fact that new england has belichick and New york has coughlin. Give Belichick 1 week to play a team and he will go 18-0. Give Belichick two weeks to figure a team out and he will destroy the other team. The fact that these two team have played before is going to benifit the better coach and that is another plus to the Pats. For all we know they had camaras on that sideline.

So i don't think it is completely unfair that people feel this game is going to be boring and a blowout. I don't necessarily think it will be but it is completely understandable that people will think that and it is for good reason. I'm just hoping for a game as good as their first matchup just because it'll be fun to watch. The giants have been surprising every team they have played in the past 3 weeks and even against new england the week before. Lets hope for the sake of the game that they continue their little streak. However i wouldn't mind both the QBs playing horrible games because i dislike them both.

I think we can congartulate the Giants for going to the SB, but I really think it could be a great game. The Giants are playing good football right now and could be able to put the pats in trouble.

I absolutely want the Giants to win. I hate Barber and Shockey and would really like to see Eli win without them after the crap they say about him. I almost wish the game was on NBC so Barber would have to sit there and the crap he said about Coughlin, Eli and his former team.

Yeah good point. The 2 week layoff is definitely in Belichick's favor.

I'd like to think this could be a close game but I'm feeling a blowout in the works.

Wow, I"m surprised. At the end of the day Gmen have the personel to match up with Pats. They also have a very long winning streak away from Giants Stadium. Eli to me looked amazing against the Packers. Coughlin will pound w/ Jacobs and then the little Dave Megget is dangerous as hell. Plax beat the shit out of Al Harris but Pats will double him. Toomer and the rest need to step up. Gmen have the best defensive line in the game today. What's the point spread??
