What would kill them about this trade is the oppertunity cost associated with the deal. If you have Pac Man, you are going to play him. If you play Pac Man, at least in 2008, he's going to get roasted over an open fire.

Yeah, the guy is only going to be 25, and maybe he has matured, but you are getting a guy who hasn't played football in over a year and a half and is re-developing some raw skills.

I can't wait to play Dallas, if they make this deal.

Pac Man is just one of those dudes that can always con someone into believing he's seen the light but will always be in the middle of some sh*t.. Let Dallas take on that headache.. Wade Phillips, AKA Grimace, won't know how to handle Jones.. It'll be fun watching them fall apart at the seams..

I concur, Paintrain. Just hope that light he sees is a train at the other end of the tunnel.

On the bottom line on the screen this morning while watching Mike and Mike on ESPN, it said that Dallas has increased their offer to get Jones to a player on their roster plus a 7th-round pick.

They're desperate for more trash on their team obviously.

The offer is a 6th rounder and Akin Ayodele.
Dallas is stacked at linebacker and Ayodele is targeted as a June 1st cut anyway. Regardless of whether Pacman Jones is acquired or not, Ayodele is history.

Titans want a 3rd round pick and maybe even a conditional pick in the 2009 draft. But no way that is going to happen. If Dallas walks away from this, there would not be any other team that matches that offer on such a high risk acquisition.

Exactly. Pacman would so much of a headache to Dallas that he is most likely gonna be cut before Preseason, I'd be suprised to see him last the whole season.

People said that when Dallas signed Owens....and it has not happened.
They said it when they signed Tank Johnson...and it has not happened.
People have said it when Dallas signed other questionable players in the past (DeMetrius Underwood and Alonzo Spellman)....and it has not happened.

Just wondering WHEN exactly this is going to happen is all.

Folks just like to say, "Just wait, Owens is a ticking time bomb that is going to go off".

And meanwhile, back in reality, he has become a model team mate and locker room mentor. A solid team leader that is one of the top WR's in the NFL.

Predictions are one thing, but facts speak a lot louder.

And no offense, but if you want to see a team fall apart from the seams, look no further than the Redskins and the way the coaching search was handled.

True, the bomb hasn't gone off, however if you keep adding fuel to
the fire it will explode.

TO by himself did work. Now add Tank Johnson and Pacman Jones.
Let simmer under Phillips and Jerry Jones to give you a recipe for disaster.

Sandtrap, even a Cowboy fan has to be worried about adding all these
high risk players.

You talk about our coaching search. What about Jones opening up the
vault and promises made to Garrett? That has to give Phillips warm fuzzy
feelings about his future. I would be more worried about stability in your
locker room.

I wouldn't be surprised to see T.O and Adam coming out giving each other the finger.

I agree with you on this. Also, if everyone knows that Ayodele will be a june 1st cut then why wouldnt they just sign him then? They could have their cake and eat it too.

For what reason would the way the coaching search was handled, make the team fall apart at the seams OR for that matter have any effect on the team? If I'm not mistaken didn't the cowboys do almost the same exact thing with there coaching search last year? They kept most of the same players and improved, except when it matters in the playoffs. That makes absolutely no sense.

Explain how you think the coaching search would have the effect you predict on the Redskins.

Dallas doesnt need this, but i think it will happen, and it will ruin their reputation for their organization.
