Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
Some blog with a Fox station in Denver reported that some unnamed source suggested that Cutler might drink too much on occassion for a diabetic...or something like that

Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
If they can get him without giving up Landry, Cooley or this years 1st round pick that'd be sweet. Campbell and next years 1st round and another draft pick. I doubt we'll get him though. I dont see Campbell taking this or any team anywhere though.

Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
How can he be a career backup when he's a starter now?

Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
Why not trade him to Tennessee for Vince Young and their #1 and #3.
He could go home, and the Titans would be able to get Old man Collins out of football. Broncos could still trade up and get Sanchez as insurance if Young didn't work out.

Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
The whole drinking thing with Culter sounds a bit like someone trying to stir up a smear campaign. There's a pic of him at a wedding or something doing a shot, big deal.
I dunno, I'm coming around to the idea of bringing in Cutler. Hey why not, trade JC and toss in a pick for next year and we're SB bound. |

I'm glad to hear you say it. I'm all for Cutler myself. What the hell, it's not like we've been winning lately.....something has to give.

I'm against the Cutler trade because I don't think the Skins are quite there yet. The defense is statistically good, but it doesn't force turnovers and isn't dominant. The receivers are far too much of a question mark and the o-line is old. The offensive schemed was less effective with every game last year. I think it's an interesting discussion though. |

Worst case; he winds up in Tampa. Or with the Vikings. Just be nice if he stayed in the AFC

Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
One of the funny things about this whole deal is if it happens we will still have a QB that a segment of our fan base would hate! We're a miserable bunch, lol!

Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
Winning a SB is really the only cure. It isn't exclusive to the Skins, any team that has a QB that hasn't won the SB has fans that don't like the guy. Only person I think really didn't fit that mold was Peyton before his ring.

Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
This is really killing me. I don't know much about the drinking claim, and there really isn't a way to prove it. The picture doesn't show him doing a keg stand right, so that is all that really matters.
Again as some have been saying, Cutler IMO is not that good. Our schedule seemed much harder than the Broncos. NFC East in general is much more competitive, and I feel if Campbell was in the AFC West he would dominate. His numbers as others pointed out weren't amazing either, but yes he threw TDs.
