Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey

You don't win 8 games in the NFL without some skills. Zorn will be here next year if he wins more than 8 games though if he gets fired Mike. H. would be the easiest transition for the team.

true but with the talent on this team I don't think 8 games is very much but that's just my opinion and after today I'm not sure exactly sure if "skills" is the word I'd use but once again that's just my opinion...

Call him what you want but Cutler is doing better than us.

However, Campbell is doing better than Cutler.

UPDATED stats/assessment:

Cutler:
TOTALS: 65/101 (64.4%), 760 yds, 6 TD, 5 INT, 86.2 rating, 14 rush yds

Sanchez:
TOTALS: 49/83 (59.0%), 606 yds, 4 TD, 2 INT, 87.7 rating, 14 rush yds

Campbell:
TOTALS: 69/102 (67.6%), 793 yds, 3 TD, 2 INT, 92.5 rating, 65 rush yds

Ranks:
Comp. % = Campell, Cutler, Sanchez
Yds = Campell, Cutler, Sanchez
TDs = Cutler (6), Sanchez (4), Campbell (3)
INTs = Campell, Cutler, Sanchez/Sanchez (2 ea), Cutler (5)
QB rating = Campbell (92.5), Sanchez (87.7), Cutler (86.2)
Rush yds = Campbell (65), Cutler/Sanchez (14)

Campbell is leading all of the 3 QBs in every category except TDs, which can probably be attributed to Zorn's RZ play-calling that mainly consists of runs that are stopped. Even in a suspect offense playcalling-wise, he's carrying the team and proving to be a very capable, if not better, pro QB.

If the team did not have Campbell, we'd be far worse than we are now offensively.

He and Eli have a similar facial expression most of the time. That sleepy/confused/lost/chemically-affected look.

Cutler just looks disinterested, not only by the looks on his face but his body language overall, Marty S. has commented on this many times on NFL Radio.

Eli has a dopey look, but at least he looks into the game and in control. I would take Eli anyday over Cutler. Cutler reminds me more and more of Jeff George.

did anyone notice right after the cutler goalline play where he fumbled, cutler wnet over to a ref to plead his case, landry then gets between cutler and the ref, says something to cutler, then landry does the redskins ball arm forward gesture that refs do right in cutlers face who pushes landrys arm away.

pretty funny stuff, one of the few times landry's talk after a play might have helped in disrupting what ever plea cutler was giving to the ref.

Not until you pointed it out. Cutler behaves like a 10 year-old.

That was hilarious.

Too bad he didn't poke him in the eye. Would make for a hilarious injury report.

Wonder if the NFL would fine the ref. :cheeky-sm

When Cutler was a child, he couldn't even throw a tantrum without it being picked off.
