Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
I hope they don't trade him, allow him to come to the April camp see how he looks if he's really been working out then make him fit.

Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
Albert loves to do what he wants. He has so much ability that he has been allowed to do what he wants and he also has a temper. Spoiled and a quick temper are rotten combinations for a team player.

Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
I say screw AH and his fat issues. Trade him for something that makes us better. He's an obvious cancer. Working out with his own trainers... Yeah. Thankfully I trust in Shanahan to get rid of ALL dead weight. Fat Albert go lay down on someone else's field; you fat, overpaid, overrated, never be in HOF or win a SB self. Buy a new boat just get the hell off our team!

I still want Haynesworth on this team. Unless we can deal him for a 1st rounder or Brandon Marshall.. |

Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
Usually Schefter knows what he is talking about, but this is very hard to believe!
Adam_Schefter Despite rampant speculation, Redskins NOT shopping Albert Haynesworth and haven't had any trade discussions regarding him since March 31. |

I'll believe Adam Schefter 10 times before I believe Mike Florio and JLC.

Albert Haynesworth The media LOVES to dump on our team and Haynesworth because we spent to much for him. They'll make up anything to make us look bad. I think it was money well spent...he made a huge difference on our defense. We needed sacks...he made them possible. Doubled our sack rate. His performance doesn't merit being unloaded after one year. He did exactly what we expected. So he had a spat with Zorn...many players did late in that debacle. He's gone now. Shanahan will keep him in check.

However, notice that this means that we haven't tried to trade AH for the last week. That's not a big deal. Tomorrow may be different.

Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
I think you are speculating as much as Florio and LaCanfora have. I do believe anyone can be traded, but I don't believe the drama that these two have overhyped (you can throw in f'ing Andy Pollin on that one too).

Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
^ I didn't mean to speculate. I'm not saying we are trying to trade AH and I agree that others like Florio have created drama where drama perhaps does not exist.
Still, "They haven't tried to trade AH for one whole week" is not a very strong statement.

Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
I agree. And, as I said in another thread, the fact that Schefter - the person closest to Shanahan - is the only one disputing the report is noteworthy. Its blatantly obvious to me that Schefter is only reporting what Shanahan wants to report to drive up Haynesworth value and make him help us facilitate a trade. I'm 100% confident that Haynesworth is on the market and will be traded if we can get a starting offensive linemen and/or experienced 3-4 front7 players and/or draft picks.

Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
Yes, you are correct. April 1 made a clear difference in his tradeability. But it is obvious from March that they don't see him as a "must keep" player, leaving the door open for maneuvering down the road. Maybe. Maybe not.
