Re: It's F'ing Rams week!
what is up with chris long? the boy needs to add some bulk and muscle to that frame of his which did him well in college but i think he is out powered in the nfl. thats one pick the rams did that i didnt understand.
is there OT rookie from last year, the good tackle named smith, is he starting as their LT? hopefully orakpo can get a multi sack game.

Re: It's F'ing Rams week!
Long's been really great through two games this year.
He's shown flashes through his first two seasons as well. Wouldn't be shocking at all if 2010 was his breakout year. Laurinitis is playing well also, but the key for him is to keep putting him in space where he is uncomfortable. Atogwe has a great reputation, but too often is more of an "overseer" in centerfield than a game changer. His best asset is covering for teammates who blow assignments. Which is why the Rams never get better on defense.

Redskins storylines, week 3
Ah yes, this week we face the Rams. Such lowly opponents, but they always seemed to cause Jason Campbell trouble, as his record and recent benching indicates. Thankfully, we won't have to worry about that anymore.
Anyway, Jim Haslett's coming back St. Louis after an unimpressive stint as D-coordinator there. He also was present as interim head coach when we debacled the game to the Rams in 2008. Adam Carriker is also heading back to the team who gave birth to his NFL life. Needless to say, he didn't do much for his parent, and now is trying to stick it to them. Such a rebellious teen. Steve Spagnoulo. Thank god he's out of the division. Giants still searching for that 2008 glory. Also, who wants to bet that there will be a "9" and a "7" in the score?

Re: Redskins storylines, week 3
The Rams have always given our offensive line fits, more specifically. That's going all the way back to the 2008 game.
If Trent Williams is playing, I'm not worried about them. If he's not playing, it's probably going to be a crap offensive day. In which case, a good chance that either team has a '9' or '7' at the end. Hopefully in the Skins case, that's a '19'. Wouldn't count on it though.

Either way, I think our defense is going to hit Bradford early and often, and while we're probably going to give away some blitzes too soon, it's going to be a good day for the defense.
