Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)

Schaub has a better supporting cast than Cutler. Hence, he looks better. Cutler's more talented and would make that offense explode more than it already has. Besides, since Houston's scheme is Shanahan-inspired, Cutler would probably be able to match his Denver production down there.

Rams are not for real. They had no where to go but up. Seattle is not a good road team. Bradford looks legit and they're better but they're still a bad team.

They are dramatically improved though. Seattle had looked decent coming into that game.

I don't feel so bad about last week now. The Rams could go for 6-7 wins in that toilet of a division.

That was a bad loss to STL. They're still not a good team. Seattle is terrible once they get away from Quest Field. That place is the best home field advantage in the NFL.

I completely agree. Their fans are delusional too.

Glasselbeck can't be trusted to play half a season, they have no real #1 RB, only one WR (possibly two how that Brandon Stokely came in this week and impressed).

They did have the best draft in the NFL though, and playing in the worst division in pro sports helps them look better than they really are...but, they were playing decently well up until the Rams game. I think the Rams will be like a pesky fly in many games this year...we definitely overlooked them.

Screw Sanchez, we have to talk about Cutler because he's a Redskin...wait, he's not a Redskin? Could've swore he was by the way this thread is going.

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)

Something just wasn't right about Cutler last night. The OL has their issues no doubt, but he just wasn't seeing things and was holding on to the ball WAY too long. A lot of those sacks were clearly his fault.

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)

This might have been addressed in this thread already, if it has I apologize.

I didnt know that if a qb runs out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage (for a loss) that the D is credited with a sack. Is this new?

Who on the defense gets credit for the sack? the player closest to the qb when he steps out of bounds? no player is given credit and its a team sack?

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)

It's nothing new, yeah I believe the closest player to him gets the credit.

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)

The real Jay Cutler has finally shown up. Knew it would not last. Of course, he didn't get much help.

2 quarters of play: 42 yards, 1 interception, 9 sacks, 1 concussion.

might as well post sanchez and JCs numbers to for this week and season total as well then.

i dont understand the hate/obsession with what sanchez or cutler does. cutler is a good young qb, sanchez is developing into a good young qb. good for them.

you dont have to hate on cutler just cuz some skins fans thought he was better than JC and wanted the trade to go down. that discussion/argument has long since sailed away.

Yeah, let's talk about Aaron Rodgers.
