Re: It's F-ing Colts Week

I guess we knew the schedule going in, but it's weird that we are in week 6 and only have had one 1pm start.

I don't think the late start will be much of a factor either way. Both teams have already played one Sunday night game, and both won, granted in different fashion, so there really is no stigma hanging over either. This is just going to be a mano y mano competition.

I HATE 4 o'clock games in the early fall becasue we still have light and this usually the busiest time around my house. 1 is so much better son is taking nap, wife out shopping etc..It is just annoying.

WE WON'T, Peyton cuts your throat fast.....
BTW, we were supposed to lose last week, the week before that. Hell, I think we were predicted to lose pre-season!
We'll beat these guys to.....HTTR

Incidentally, Russ Grimm (whose Cards have a bye this week) will be honored at halftime on Sunday. Believe Joe Jacoby and Doug Williams will be there as well.

I would take a mini Grimm and an old Full Size Jaocby over a young healthy Heyer on Sunday night!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean im not bashing Heyer, im just saying. Cause i dont bash anymore cause Hasslett has humbled me. I would also take a Bostic with no arms and legs for center too. Ok shut up crusty!!!! WTF. I got to get back to work.

semi related note although he is accused of being a thug I wonder if we could sign Marvin Harrison. McNabb and he played together in college and maybe a year off was good for the knees

They've only done that once this season so far...

...but it was against an NFC East rival, and frankly the NFC East isn't the beast it used to be.

I have a good feeling about this game, tho' ... if we lose, I think it's gonna be a heart-breaker like the Texans game.

Re: It's F-ing Colts Week

I see another close game that goes down to the wire. These aren't the Colts we're used to seeing, the Skins can hang with them. I see a 20-17 type of game, just not sure which way it will go.

Matty, I'm with you on a fairly low scoring game. Other than the Texans game, the Skins are not allowing many TDs this year. I guess they are keeping things in front of them fairly well. 20-17 is a pretty good prediction.

Re: It's F-ing Colts Week

This will definitely be another tough test for the defense. However, as mentioned in some previous posts, the key to the skins winning this game will be ball control and time of possession. The longer we have the ball, is less time Manning has the ball. Torain needs to have a huge role and a big game if this is going to work.

Gut tells me that the Colts need the game and Peyton usually comes through in these situations. But the Skins have shown real fortitude this year, so I don't think a blowout is likely. Torain goes for 130+ and a TD, but Peyton rallies the Colts late. I see 24-21 Colts, hopefully they will prove me wrong again....
