Re: Bye Week Games Thread
Wade just said defensively he "doesn't know what's happened." He's the defensive playcaller. That's a problem.
He's so defeated, it's really pathetic. Sheesh. Jerrah needs to put this man out of his misery. My gosh.

LMAO @ Jerry Jones- when asked if he knew what was wrong with his team, he said, "I can't put my finger on it, because I don't have enough fingers." HA!

They have to play the Giants next. That's going to get ugly.

I wonder what is our record against backup QBs. Not pretty though, I'm sure.

Re: Bye Week Games Thread
There is no way we are getting rid of Shanny after one season or at least god I hope not! We need some continuity with this coaching staff! Look at all of the consistently good team in this league and you will notice they have long term coaches, you can't expect players to master a system in one or even two years. It takes a good relationship between the HC and OC and DC and players to really become elite. Look at NE, Pitt, Tenn, even Baltimore has had only 2 coaches from 2000 to now.
We NEED to keep a staff together for 4 or 5 years to stop the boat from rocking every other year if nothing else! |

Seriously, Giants are looking very good right now and considering how bad the Boys are, it's going to be another blowout.

Re: Bye Week Games Thread
Yeah, this is my fear, I've felt this way all season. The rivalry is like that. The timing is bad for us, if we could just play them while they're in free fall. Instead we get to play them after they've likely fired the coach & the players get the message that they're 'auditioning' for jobs.

Re: Bye Week Games Thread
As much as I really never want to discuss Campbell again, its hard to imagine a guy who deserves to lead a winning team more. As a fan, I'm happy for him as well, no matter what happens from here.

Re: Bye Week Games Thread
I know there is still 1/2 a season to play but my prediction for the Raiders and Campbell are getting closer:

Re: Bye Week Games Thread
Can Wade Phillips kick extra points?
If so the Lions should sign him after Jerruh gives him the boot.

Re: Bye Week Games Thread
Anyone else catch how Arian Foster was robbed of a TD on the same garbage rule that Calvin Johnson was earlier in the year?
Looked like he took several steps, a "football move" after catching it. He crossed the goal line and when he went down on the ball, it came out of his hand, but well after he crossed the goal line with possession after making a clear "football move" (I hate that term). It was less blatant than the mistake made on CJ's, but still a bad rule.
