Re: 2012 NFL Draft Prospects

Vontaze Burfict is expected to declare for the draft. A lot of scouts now have mid-round grades on him and really question the way he plays (out of control and feisty). If he's there in the 2nd round, the Skins have to got to pick him. He is a game changer, Ray Lewis clone, and is the kind of beef and muscle that the skins defense needs. He's like Sean Taylor at LB.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Prospects

Cliff Harris CB for Oregon has been kicked off the team. Football skills wise, he can run with any receiver in the league. Also most of his picks have come against great QB's (Locker, Luck, Cam Newton, Barkley). I saw in a mock draft that it had us taking him; In the third round I'd definitely take him..(Oh and he can return punts and kicks even better than Banks; think Patrick Peterson type of returner, maybe even better)

I would imagine that his draft stock would drop a lot given what has happened. So I would take him in a lower round. Although I hope he doesn't become the pothead version of Pacman Jones.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Prospects

While we are dealing with Fred Davis and Trent Williams known substance abuse issues (its an issue because they are multi-time offenders), why are we even considering drafting a player with serious character issues? Pass

NFL Draft order derby: Say goodbye to Barkley and Griffin as Dolphins drop from 5th to 9th | The Daily Dolphin

After week 13, we are in the 5th position in terms of 1st round pick. I think with the suspensions, we might be able to up that to 4th, and get Barkley without spending additional picks........

Vikings and Rams won't take a QB so if we end up 4th, which I still think we will get the 3rd pick, we will get a QB

OK, if that is the situation, I wouldn't move up. I would stay put and take our chances.

I worry about Jax taking Matt B but even if they did we could take RGIII

Jax has Gabbert with no help for him, they will take Jeffery or Blackmon.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Prospects

He doesn't deserve it but it's based on need. Jax NEEDS a WR just as bad as we need a QB.

Indy- Luck (surprise of the draft)
Minnesota- Kalil
Jax- Blackmon
Washington- Barkley or RGIII (our choice)
