Skill positions come off the board first in free agency, just like the draft. Free agency is just getting started.

We can always take Randy Moss in the middle of the season after he gets booted off of whatever team he's on at the time.

I'm most excited about Hankerson too.

Kelly is outta here. No chance he makes the team. Wish it would've worked out for him but it's time to turn the page on the guy.

Kelly's future depends on his health. If he was truly gone, he'd been cut a long time ago. Otherwise, he'll be able to compete. Of course the moment he gets injured, he'll be gone.

I think they want to see what he can do if healthy but no question the numbers are against him.

I'm not so sure about that.. If that was so clear cut then Shanahan would have cut him last summer or in the offseason. If healthy, (HUGE IF) Kelly can be a difference maker in our WR corp. He's put in a lot of work with Beck and on the offense in hopes of being an impact player. Wait until at least the middle of camp before counting him completely out. Shanny (both of them) likes him a lot.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Re: Redskins Receivers Rotation

Santana Moss
Jabar Gaffney
Anthony Armstrong (Honestly, I'm thinking Armstrong and Gaffney will be 50/50 in terms of who will be the "second guy")
Leonard Hankerson
Terrence Austin
Niles Paul

PS:
Aldrick Robinson

I think they're going to try and find some way to keep Banks anyway they can. I want Banks to stay, I just don't know if he will stay, unless they somehow keep 7 receivers.

Is there really any need for Stallworth and Gaffney to be on this team? Why draft wr's if you're going to bring in journeymen? And I don't care if they don't know the playbook. Coach em' up and scale everything down. Also they have to find a way for Banks to make the team. He's the most explosive player on the team. I don't care if he's a knucklehead. He's young and he'll hopefully grow out of it!

I understand having Gaffney on the team, its Stallworth that I wish we had not picked up. Gaffney fills a need (good hands good route running pretty good size) Stallworth has not had an impact season since 2005.

Neither of these guys are going to come in and catch 80 (or probably even 60 really) balls but I worry that Stallworth is going to take reps away from young guys and give us nothing in return.

1.) Gaffney is coming off a season where he caught 60 plus passes. It's why I think it's funny everyone has him as, like, the fifth receiver in the rotation. He's not a game breaker, but he's productive, and has been getting more so over the past couple seasons. He had 875 yards last year. He's not exactly a slouch.

2.) Stallworth is a camp body, and as I said last season with Terrence Austin and Joey Galloway...it has to be argued that, if you can't beat the old guys out in camp, chances are you're not ready for primetime yet. If one of our rookies or second year guys can't impress coaches more than a dude that only caught two passes last season, does that say more about Stallworth, who's just trying to get a job and is playing for nothing, or the young guy who the team actually has something invested in that they can't beat out.
