Re: NFL Preseason Week 1
I dunno Matty, last year they played tough against a lot of teams and Stafford's health clearly affected them. I'm sure Fairley being injured doesn't help them though.

Re: NFL Preseason Week 1
Stafford staying healthy is a big question mark though. Until he does it, not buying them. Plus they're in a very tough division.

Re: NFL Preseason Week 1
So the Skins didn't come out and flop playing last yrs AFC SB team. So what can the nay sayers say?..... "it was only a preseason game." lol.
I look at it this way... Neither team game planned. Both teams played vinella plays. It wasn't a game that counted. but having said all that I felt the team looked very sharp with their vinella plays, was very capable of moving the ball even though they didn't game plan, and .... the run game looked to be 100X better with better blocking for the RB. |

Julio Jones looked really good last night. That Atlanta offense could be something special this year.

Re: NFL Preseason Week 1
San Fran and Kansas City wake up, the lockout is over.
San Fran has spent alot of high draft picks to build a oline recently and they got dominated and utterly destroyed by Greg Williams and that Saints D last nite. Arrowhead usually doesnt see a team come in and hand such an ass whipping to their Chiefs. Wow Tampa looks ready, the Chiefs on the other hand with very high expectations this season, not the way to start the preseason...only 6 first downs last night. Its early I know, but hey season only a month away.

SF may not win 5 games this year. Their offense is HORRIBLE

Re: NFL Preseason Week 1
Jake Locker, first pass, heat seeking on target laser. Second pass "um who was that to?"
McNabb lots of dink and dunk but looks good.

Locker goes bombs away and nets the Titans a touchdown.

McNugget has a 3.6 average so far with 6/11 for 40 yards. A whopping 62.7 QB rating. I'd call that shitting the field up.
