I'm actually a bit intrigued by Matt Gutierrez (if he plays at all)...when Darth Hoody traded Cassel to the Chiefs, I believe Gutierrez was Brady's back up. But then again, he did get cut after that year, so who knows.

I live in CO and for those wondering NFLN is replaying the game at 4 ET on Saturday. Smy hero i am guessing on Marcus White or Chappel. They seem like they might out play expectations.

Well actually, Gutierrez followed Cassel to KC and was his backup there in 2009. I'm guess Pioli brought him to KC

I really like Banks and hope his knee improves to the point where he will regain the speed he demonstrated that helped land him a spot on the team. With so many WR's in camp he's going to have to prove himself within the ranks of the competition.

That's the way for him to increase his chances of making the roster; contribute as a wide receiver, his listed position. On a 53-man roster, it's hard to justify keeping a player who is just a return specialist, no matter how good he is. Banks played just 15 snaps at receiver last year, but to his credit he does want to do more.

But yes i'd guess Paul or Austin for that last spot. Paul is known as a special teams standout right? KR?

Moss, Gaffney, Armstrong, Hankerson, and Paul I'm guessing.
Yeah my boss was talking about this today. Apparently Banks has a big attitude, i never saw him as that type of guy before either. I think SS alluded to that a incident may have happened with Banks that we dont know about, in addition to the stabbing thing. Maybe it was his locker-room attitude.

And although i think kickoff returners are now significantly less important i agree with Buster that punt returns is where he needs to be a weapon at. Although I was more impressed with his punt return then his kick returns there’s a much more important duty when returning punts; making sure you don’t drop it…. which banks has had a little bit of trouble with. I say if he drops one kick off or one punt in the pre-season hes gone. Either way I think hes on the outside looking in and is gonna have to have a bunch of nice returns, no drops, and one TD return or doesn’t make it. He was the funnest thing to watch on the team last year and I hope he makes it, just not sure at what cost.

I mean the thing is, guys like Brandon Banks probably don't get as far as they do without some attitude. I mean he's five-foot-nothing a hundred nothin...but he does have a lot of athletic ability

Yeah but have you heard anything about his attitude from your sources? I mean he seemed more confident and determined then cocky.

Him specifically, no not anything that's probably worth worrying about. But...he may want to reconsider the company he keeps

I want to see the Sex Cannon throw the deep ball to Armstrong...against Steeler's 1st D.

How long do you think they will keep Rex in the game?

@Skinzwin: You should have it. Its on CBS down here on the peninsula.
