Let's keep karma on our side and not hope than anyone has a bad injury.

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
As much as I hate to say it Romo deserves a lot more respect for playing through Sunday's game with a punctured lung. That's a gutsy performance. It also probably means we'll be playing against Kitna on Monday night.

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
All I'm saying is the Cowboys would be stupid to take a chance and let him play when they could let him heal and then come back and hopefully play in the later part of the year. He obviously didin't have a lung collapse but this is what I'm talking about....

If he has pneumothorax even if minor would require 3 weeks minimum for the body to reabsorb the air around the lung and at least 1-2 week to scar over. So I believe the collapsed lung to be all hype and BS at this point. If his life is in any danger, it does not mater if Cowboys FO wants to start him or not, the NFL will not allow him to play if there is any doubt. If he is out on the field come Monday night, then Im all for our D putting his ass back on the sideline. |

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
NFL NETWORK just came out and said it was a collapsed lung. Pneumothorax. Ta daaaa.
It takes up to 2 weeks to heal and were not talking about a QB who has to worry about getting hit again and again. They would be smart to sit him for about 2 weeks then evaluate him. Then maybe think about sitting him another week or 2. |

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
Doesn't make a difference if Romo is in or out. Kitna can get the job done. Even if Jones is hurt, big deal. He isn't a top RB IMHO. Now if Miles Austin is out, that does take away a big play threat. This is the same situation we usually found ourselves with regards to the Gmen. Banged up badly, only to be able to come back and beat us. I think we win, but I wouldn't count our chickens before they hatched. Kitna for Romo isn't that big of a trade off in my opinion, and that is the most likely of the scenarios, meaning Romo is the only one who loses playing time. Our run D is fairly tight, so I think the Dallas running game will be held in check for the most part.

Sorry Gus but Tony is a stud and Kitna isn't even close to his level

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
Would karma go against us if i hoped for Romo to have fractured rectum to add to his ribs if he plays next week?
