eh .. thats a piss poor ranking for overall performance IMO .. but thats just like the ranking, an opinion.

I don't think you can identify the No. 1 CB just based on watching their scheme. You'd have to ask coaches, I've heard he is viewed as the third CB. Maybe someone else can chime in. Wilson isn't great for sure, but his coverage is better then Hall.

An opinion based on someone watching and breaking his play down. Far more than most are probably doing here, and more objectively too.

Again the whole defense is bad though and right now we can't just sit hall because no one else can step up apparently.

No one? No one can go out there and get thrown at on 65% of the pass plays and get beat on 95% of them? I bet we have 10 guys on the team that can. They only thing he brings to the table in terms of value versus other CBs, and this is of clear value, is his ability to make plays on the ball when the situation presents itself. He has good hands and is very good at advancing turnovers. He is also a competent tackler for a CB. I do think DHall could play a decent safety for us. His coverage skills and play making ability could translate to mroe value at the position. I ma not sure why that hasn't happened. What we're doing now clearly is not working. I increasingly doubt Haslet's ability to use players appropriately.

Any coach worth keeping would sit Hall. Especially after last Sunday.

The only way the Skins defense wins is when the opposing team's QB is inaccurate. They have no pass rush or coverage skills, so we have to hope for an errant pass or a dropped ball. Its totally frustrating. No coverage what so ever.
