Re: Adam Schefter this morning on Sports Fix
No one? No one can go out there and get thrown at on 65% of the pass plays and get beat on 95% of them? I bet we have 10 guys on the team that can. They only thing he brings to the table in terms of value versus other CBs, and this is of clear value, is his ability to make plays on the ball when the situation presents itself. He has good hands and is very good at advancing turnovers. He is also a competent tackler for a CB. I do think DHall could play a decent safety for us. His coverage skills and play making ability could translate to mroe value at the position. I ma not sure why that hasn't happened. What we're doing now clearly is not working. I increasingly doubt Haslet's ability to use players appropriately.

I'm not defending the guy or saying he's so great, I would love to see him and jw both gone, I'm just saying Wilson isn't any better . Watch and see how much he gets burned it's just as much

Re: Adam Schefter this morning on Sports Fix
was that the same play that Gomes and Reed tried to tackle Gronk and he broke both tackles at the same time? Ugh that safety play was just terrible, and hasnt really changed...

Re: Adam Schefter this morning on Sports Fix
I don't think you can identify the No. 1 CB just based on watching their scheme. You'd have to ask coaches, I've heard he is viewed as the third CB. Maybe someone else can chime in. Wilson isn't great for sure, but his coverage is better then Hall.

Re: Adam Schefter this morning on Sports Fix
This is a relief. It had been a while since a thread had been overtaken by Hall talk. I thought we were slipping. Good to know I was wrong

Re: Adam Schefter this morning on Sports Fix
An opinion based on someone watching and breaking his play down. Far more than most are probably doing here, and more objectively too.

Although I am sure people will bring him up in threads, just like they do Haynesworth and Campbell.

Re: Adam Schefter this morning on Sports Fix
It's so easy to focus on controversial players of the past few years. More fun though to remember guys like Marcus Washington and Cornelius Griffin. Good dudes who were great Skins

Don't worry, the eternal scapegoat is eternal for a reason. The names may change, but rest assured there will always, always, be one go-to guy the fans can blame whenever something goes wrong. D.hall has filled that role nicely for four seasons now, but it's time to cut him lose.
