I know.

But what's done is done. Robert was so shook up, but I just can't find it in me to sustain the hate for letting him stay in. We lost the game because of more than just letting him stay in.

We have nowhere to go but up.

I'm not going to say that's why we lost the game, but the defense held a lead until midway through the 4th. Kirk would have given us at least a chance.
I have a hard time with this. While I understand the concern about losing a franchise player. It is the playoffs. We have had key players namely Fletch and Lichty who couldn't even participate in practices for an entire week leading up to games. If every player is sat because they can't practice or function at 100% the roster would need to be 200 people.

Agreed. This time of year a lot of guys are dinged up. Internally I'd bet nobody is upset they stuck with Griffin. I'm sure they all wanted to go down swinging with him in there.

I think the refs let too much go. They should have called a couple of early penalties.

Im not sustaining it. It is sustaining me. Lol.
Agreed about the future. Little ounce of me who is worried about the totallity if Griffs injury. The hate will go away for good and it will turn to complete optimism of the immediate future once i know Griff will be 100 percent for camp.

He is stating the truth, no?

@MikeJonesWaPo: Griffin: "mike asked me if I was ok. I said yes. I'm the qb of this team...don't think being out there hurt team. I'm the best option"

We are just upset that we lost a game that we should've won. Did Griffin even complete a pass in the second half?

We were still up by 1 with 8 minutes in the game even though we didn't move the ball for 2.5 quarters. Their D wasn't anything special it was just that our QB was completely inaccurate.

Bad decision to allow Griffin to stay in. Anyways, we move on thinking about shoulda, coulda, woulda's.
This
To call for Shanahans firing at this point is stupid
But,and it's a big But,that was one if the worst coaching descisions ever made to leave RG in there
It was painfully obvious to casual football watchers he shoukdnt be in there
I believe if Cousins started 2nd half we win this game

But if Joe Webb was our backup. KC -1 has come up huge very recently in these situations. I felt so great about the KC pick until tonite. Now its tough to understand why we didnt have a fighters chance with 8 mins left up by one?

The problem is, he's not the best option when he's hurt. That's why you can't rely on players to tell you the truth. After it was evident he was hurting bad and his game was severely affected by it, he should have been pulled. This isn't even a 2nd guessing. At least at the half he should have came out with Cousins.

Let me make sure I'm understanding this... You're blaming Cousins for not being able to pick up where RG3 left off?

The Ravens situation was different. We had momentum, we were driving, were deep in Ravens territory and I think Cousins expected to get put in after RG3 was injured the first time.

This time, we had zero momentum, hadn't sustained a decent drive since the first quarter and although up by 1, the offensive line started breaking down and the defense had been getting worked up and down the field since the 3rd quarter.

But somehow Cousins deserves some blame?
