I'll never understand the hang up some people have over what other consenting adults do in the bedroom. Such a waste of time.

Yeah at the end of the day it really is that simple.

What's so complicated about it?

Live and let live. Worry more about yourself and less about what everyone else is doing.

I really don't think this thread is about that. Its more about gay men in a locker room with other men. I personally can see how another male might not like sharing a bathroom and showers with a gay male. If its right or wrong I can understand. Not sure why that is so hard for other people to see. Its one thing to allow gays a normal life style but when your asking other men to share personal space you then need to also take their feeling into consideration. What the player said was not that bad but how he said it was not very good.

I think it's a bigger issue than a guy not wanting to shower or be nude near a gay guy. Some people still cannot accept homosexuality, period.

For me it is no bigger issue then that. I accept homosexuality.

For you it doesn't bother you that is fine but at some point you have a line in the sand too where it will bother you. Would you share a bed with a gay man? A tent? Kiss him on the cheeck good bye? ETC... Everyone has their own tolerances.

Also let me be clear too even though it bothers me to have a gay man in the locker room with me I don't believe he should not be allowed in there just because it bothers me. It was my choice to use a public locker room.

There will always be people who do not accept homosexuality but that in its self does not make them a bad person. You can, not accept what a person does and still not hate them because of that. Seems anytime someone does not accept homosexuality for one reason or the other they get bash for what they believe.

People generally don't react well to ignorance or stupidity. Go figure.

Right...would these same people care if some hot chick was in the locker room checking him out?

Well, to play devil's advocate, the issue isn't what they are doing in the bedroom, but, rather, what they might be doing and <gasp> thinking in the locker room.

Hey 44, they want you man ... they really, really want you. Desparetely.

Seriously, if a gay wants to check you out, he doesn't need a locker room to do it.

It comes down to homophobia and insecurity, simple as that.

As a straight guy if I was in a locker room and a gay guy caught a shot of my ween, why the F would I care if I'm totally secure with myself and have zero interest in that? Homophobes I'm tellin' ya.

Yeah I agree.

Curious observation...it doesn't strike anyone as odd that we segregate men's and woman's locker rooms though. The fact that women don't want men ogling them in their locker room is considered totally normal. Not sure how to rationalize that.

I thought the issue was free speech, wait or was it morality, now it's just who's checking out whose stuff???

Isn't that like Jr. High (middle school now i guess) garbage.

I do suppose now might not be the best time for a

Like most of american societal morass, it'll all be folded into some politically correct non-offending (except to those who are offended) viewpoint which will move the dialogue forward to the same point it was at a week ago, which is to say a never ending circular debate that neither persuades nor dissuades one from the certainty of their viewpoint and the wrongness of the opposition.

maybe it's time for this one to move on over to the debating with the enemies thread.
