Why dont you go cry to some Giants fans....

I keep the football stuff where it belongs and that's not here, this section of the forums has nothing to do with football.

The exchange rate is more than fair, you've used 'Right-wing gun nut' multiple times.

I doubt very much that any of the pro-gun rights people on this board are 'Right-wing gun nuts, but that wouldn't fit in with your bed-wetting hysterical viewpoint, would it?

So, you call me a right wing gun nut (I promise I am neither), push an article that is one guys impassioned opinion, than bash another article as a student's opinion.

and you conveniently ignore any facts in any of the points presented against your position.

one of the worst thing about the state of our country's political discourse is that it is wrapped up in hyperbole, highly emotionalized, and mostly lacking in rational critical discussion.

if Sandy, and Moore, have shown us anything, life is given and taken in tragedy every day, I am done trying to explain why "just one life" is an emotionally cynical push to get a bad law passed that normally would not have a chance.

1)Sandy and Moore are two completely different thing and Ray Charles could see that.
2) It's not that "you're done explaining" ,fact is you still haven't come up with any good reason yet why if a law that one side says won't work anyway, saves just one life ...is a bad law .

Fact is you have not responded with one reason that says it is not a bad law, and I have listed several reasons why the justification of "saving just one life" is a bad method for writing new laws.

A law that saves one life is just a bad law. Then we would not have anymore buckets, electricity, cars, bikes, plane, trains, bath tub, showers, etc... I could go on all day. Just about everything we make has killed one person in some way so if your willing to make a law to save one life lets not stop there.

BTW I forgot football and how many people have died playing the game.

If any parent that has lost a child has a choice and that one law would save their child how much you wanna bet it wouldn't be a bad law?

They have already lost a child, how would that law save anyone? All your suggesting is allowing piss poor parenting to be hand-held by the rest of society.

No.

Law Banning 4th Grade field trips enacted after tragedy:

1 child dead, 1 missing after landslide sweeps over fourth-graders on field trip in Minn. | Fox News

Ok, I'll agree to that law and you must agree to a law where no child under the age of 15 can have a gun

I wouldn't agree to either law, because both would be based on flawed logic.

edit: on reflection, I am pretty sure most laws don't allow children under 15 to purchase or own guns so I guess you are on your way to banning field trips.
