Re: 90% of Skins at voluntary workout: Who do you think wasn't there?
I would travel very far to play, especially if we all chipped in an entrance fee and split the money among the team for the winner.

It would be pretty hard to arrange, but I'd definitely be down for some tackle football against another site.

It definitely would, maybe spread the word that we could have a game like... the day before Fan Appreciation Day during the summer? Hell, I bet if someone got in contact with the Redskins, they might even consider letting people enter teams. I could be pulling that out of my ass, but when I did marketing, most organizations were happy to help customers.

Re: 90% of Skins at voluntary workout: Who do you think wasn't there?
When I say enter teams, maybe on Fan Appreciation Day they could have a flag football tournament... I dunno. Just a thought. ESPECIALLY since this is one of the top Redskins sites. It would not only promote more members here, it would promote more money to the organization as a whole.

How bad ass would that be. Seriously, it doesn't seem like that far stretch at all. I mean maybe on the practice fields. I almost guarantee that some of the players would watch too.

I would drive all of the way from Augusta GA. to Landover just to do this. I just need two weeks notice so that I could put in a pass.

Also, here's a little help that will help you in every day life, PSUSKINSFAN. A question mark indicated a question. Arrington wasn't there? That was a question, I figured it was self-explanitory that I wasn't stating that as a fact. That ends with a ., maybe if you were on the football team they could have taught you that with their amazing standard of excellence. I'll give Arrington credit, he did get in their face. However, those moments from him are few and far between which is the problem. Moron Spurrier as you call him, had never coached in the NFL before. He treated the players like men (WRONG) instead of keeping a firm grip on them. Yeah, he played golf. Yet he scored more points per stayallnight Gibbs. Here's the problem, you can call him a failure all you like, that's fine. Charlie Casserly from the Texans said AFTER Spurrier was done here he'd love to have him as a coach. Sometime the situation simply doesn't fit. See Bellichek in Clevland. Also, after Gibbs second year if we aren't any better I hope to see you call him a moron. Better all around team and still can't win. Want to know why I stick up for Coles, here's the reason. Reports said that he went to Gibbs and tryed to set things straight, took notes during their meetings, and by his admittance felt better after the scuffle. That's when Snyder busted in and ruined things. Coles would still be our #1 receiver and we'd all be happy with it had the WP not leaked that story. I don't think Coles is a bad guy for wanting to leave DC, when he started out did he go through the media? No. The coach said anyone who wants out we'll accomidate. He asked the coach. That's about the best way you can do it.\ Though I'm not quite the GM you are, I have a slight feeling the team you put together would fail horribly too. I'm not disrespecting Gibbs, I think he's a great leader and all I want is increased offensive production from him. It's his conservative playcalling that killed what I thought was a very good team last year. If that requires O-coordinator, who cares. Maybe he should relinquish that control. I like him in most other facets as a coach. As far as leaders, Matty. I was liking what Smoot was starting to build, that was quickly done away with. The problem is we don't have a leader at all. Maybe one of our guys can step up, maybe Portis. Maybe Ramsey. I just want to see someone that this team rallies around! As far as the tackle game of football - I'd definitely be there to watch and play DT if you need me! |

Sweet, so we have at least 4-5 signed up... only a few more to go and at least we have a team.

Also, on the subject of leaders, Jansen's return will provide a GREAT leader. At least on the offensive side of the ball.

Daseal, I just think it's hilarious you think LaVar was crying and whining about playing DE, yet you defend Coles when he whined and cried his way right off the team and say he's a good guy on top of it all!
I don't get it, you're contradicting yourself. |

How about sometime during training camp? Is there an area nearby to get a game going?
