The name isn't racist. Since when does revisionist history, and a social media "feel good" movement, trump millions of screaming fans rooting FOR the Redskins and past court decisions on the matter?

I have dreads... but luckily, I'm not white? No one's ever complained. Hah.
Anyway, change the name to Warriors and be done with this. We'll probably get booed at every game now. I'm surprised they haven't started marketing anti-redskins products.

Just a cut and dry is it an offensive term period. I also believe that the legalistic word play answer just isn't going to make the situation any better in the long run, and with public media tending towards the change the name crowd, the Redskins position is only going to get weaker over time. |

HTTR24_7 posted this - not saying the uniform/name would change, but just as something he liked if it came to it and I could like it too. Change the stars and line under the W to gold and the letter W to a dark Burgundy.

That is pretty weak. I'd keep the same logo just change the name. If they bitched about that, I'd hope they'd tell them to eat a d*ck.

Far anything is bad. For example the way the Far Left tackles obesity is a virtual mirror image of the tactics used by the Far Rights approach to sex education. IE rather then just educating, stressing moderation, and being overall pragmatic the shift focuses towards just f****g ban everything.
