Whatever happens, I hope we will keep Schaffer and eventually promote him to GM soon enough..

I'm pretty sure agents don't like Bruce because of we don't overpay anyone like we used to. At the end of the day, agents are trying to get the most money out of those contracts and teams are trying to pay the least.

Re: Bruce Allen Thinks Everyone Should Be Judged By Their Record?? Ok.

This poll combined with future losing, not making the playoffs and poor player management is what gets GM's and others fired.
I am not saying Allen will definitely get fired soon, it will take a lot for Snyder to fire Allen.

The successful NBA team I work for, creating an environment that has Free Agents wanting to come here team is critically important to us. We make it a priority. We want them to line up at our door and maybe take less money to play here because players think it is a good place to work and win.
That kind of poll result would lead to ass chewing here.
While we do not want to live and die via free agency, nobody wants that. The draft is the preferred method to build our team, as is most teams and sports.
But free agency is a critically important component and in some cases more important than the draft. Like the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars did last year, you can turnaround a below average team quickly with smart and strong free agent class.
That poll is not good news.

2 things

1. You are absolutely right about BA getting fired if this trend continues, there was a report last week that DS is not happy with BA, now that may just be a stretch but it was reported by a few sources. JP Finley being one.

2. CP3 is overrated and cant win in the playoffs

1. I would not be surprised that Snyder might be losing patience for multiple reasons including the team has regressed a little bit in the last three years. Now this poll adds weight.

2. It looks like OKC may have their hands full right now. Makes for good competitive games.

Yes they do, I love Mitchell he has that old school style of play. Rockets and Warriors for sure in the west though.

OKC needs to win next game. Don't feel like drinking and getting all pissed off on a Saturday night. Last night was terrible.

Our teams were decent under Gibbs' second coming. After he left, the SHTF and it turned into a circus. If Gruden has a bad year, that circus will just keep on going, and going, and going. Stability is great, but only if the product being presented is good. This franchise has been relatively stable for over a decade for being known as a circus of mediocrity. Stability for stability's sake isn't necessarily a good thing. We need to draft better and draft with a real plan in place. Our recent drafts have been a mixed bag recently(especially since we traded Fuller for AS and the Cravens BS). I am not sure Bruce Allen is the man with the plan. I hope I am wrong. I am tired of being the perpetual cynic with this team. It will be nice to actually enjoy Skin's football without being let down every year, as my other team(Lions) pretty much is in the same boat.

I don’t see the WRs being the problem like you do Ivar, I see the issue being the health of Jordan Reed. If he’s healthy he changes the way secondaries have to approach us.

You could say that’s all the more reason we need somebody to step up, because you can’t count on him, and that would be fair.

But overall your view seems too pessimistic - we need to build not off the injury depleted squad that finished the year, but off the healthy version of our roster. We certainly need depth everywhere, but more than anything we just need better health.

On the injury side - We know we have a handful of players that have proven to be injury prone. Jordan Reed is one of them. NT Phil Taylor has two years in a row of season ending knee injuries in training camp. Couldn't even make it out of training camp.
We even recently signed a pair of free agents in aging CB Orlando Scandrick that has been battling injuries in recent years and Paul Richardson who has two knee injuries and one severe hamstring injury that handed him on season ending Injured reserve twice in his short career.
Some injuries are flukes. But you have to look at who we are adding to our roster recently. More injury guys.

Just a rumor, but not sure how I’d feel about him leaving for the raiders. On the one hand, our record has been mediocre under his leadership and there is continued drama / dysfunction of some sort every year. On the other... I’ve been quite happy with our drafts the past few years and i do feel we are better off as an organization than we were before he arrived.

I guess it would depend on who replaced him.

You guys talking about all this "at least there's no drama/dysfunction" bullshit have low standards.

In 8 Years under BA, the Redskins have finished last or second to last 75% of the time including the last two years WITH a QB that throws for 4000+ yards a season.

I don't know what your expectations are for this season but the Eagles are winning the division with a healthy Cowboys getting 10-12 wins while we battle the Giants for last place in the division again.

He hasn't built a winner in 8 years with a Franchise QB!

Keep in mind that Chip Kelly never finished worse than 2nd place in the division in 3 years with the eagles while we've only finished 2nd or better twice in 8 years.

BRUCE NEEDS TO GTFO!

This is also a knock on JG and KC the last few years. I do agree with u on some things tho, but building a team doesn't happen overnight. If he leaves thats ok, we have DW to step in but its not all Bruce's fault.
