All that said, nice win and first place is great.
It's the same thing now basically for years w/ Gruden. They pretty much quit coaching the last couple minutes of each half.

The fact that we're winning games while Smith is figuring things out is pretty damn impressive

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread

Tough poll question. All of the players on the list deserve a game ball. Including "others"!

The defense has the studs now to swallow top rushers, and the backend has the swag and the depth to take advantage of a harried passer.

Peterson, just wow, he may or may not make it through the season, but right now he tore up a top 10 defense with our passing game still in learning mode. And our offensive line looked good.

Skins are 4th in net takeaway/giveaways with +6. (by the way Dallas (-2), Philly(-4), and NYG(-4) are all net negatives and in the lower half of the league) That goes a long way to having two less losses than any other NFCE team.

I agree, and while we are without 3 top receiving options as well.

A can't believe it but there seems to be some evidence that we can stop the run. And some evidence that we can run the ball. WOW, that's big. For a number of years, we have sucked at both of those categories. WOW. Plus we beat Dallas. WOW.

Even if Alex Smith can't pull is head out of his ass we may still make the playoffs because the NFC is so weak. But we will be One and Done unless AS figures his shit out.

He stopped the clock intentionally with just over a minute left to give Dallas a shot to tie. Not what I would call flawless

Rushing defense is 3rd best in the league...87.3 per game. Also that includes Cowboys and Carolina...2 teams who can run it.

Yeah, that was a boneheaded move worthy of past Skins QB's.

Total yards per game, we are number 5, Dallas is number 2. People griping about the offense should keep in mind that Dallas' D is really good. In fact Pts allowed per game they are 2nd as well.

If we don't score effectively against the Giants next Sunday, I will be shocked.

Agreed.

Getting Lauvao back is huge because Roulier can slide back to center, it's like getting 2 starters back on our OL. They played really well yesterday.

Alex has to play better though, he's careful with the ball but not accurate enough.

But if he gets it together, gets Crowder, Richardson and CT back, we have the tools to play in mid/late January.

Hope Dunbar won't be out too long though, Stroman had an okay game a part from the TD but we can't afford too many of these, he's not ready yet IMO.

No but I would like to, post it if you find it! I think the hit on Dak if you look close is either his mouth piece flying out, his ear pad or the refs bean bag. I'll go with mouth piece or ear pad lol.
