Serious note - I'm no pro scout so its not possible for me to be familiar with every player. So when you pass on some guys that I do know about that I think are legit, it stings at 1st. But you don't win if you don't score. Playmakers/athletes: can't have too many. HTTR! Welcome to the team Gibson!! Call McLaurin and internet hug.

Can't fill every hole with 1 pick so take BPA everywhere and REMEMBER, this team won't be fixed in one Off-Season/Draft.

Re: Redskins Draft Thread
Great size, very fast, breaks tackles like crazy, and called the most explosive player in the draft. Yes, love the pick! Start him at wr along with Sims/McLaurin. His potential is through the roof with that build and speed. Very pleasantly surprising pick.
Welcome to Washington Antonio Gibson!! |

Re: Redskins Draft Thread
Nothing wrong with this pick. BPA all the way and they felt like Gibson was better than any of the TE's or linemen that were on their board. You put another speed guy who can run after the catch so what's not to like? A TE will be there in the 4th round.

It sure does seem like Trent will remain in town. I’m sure he would be welcomed back with open arms. It’s just my own inkling.🤷🏾*♂️Flushed face

Re: Redskins Draft Thread
Unless 10 TEs get picked in a row we should have tons of options at the top of round 4.

Re: 2020 Redskins Draft Thread
I get that and totally agree but we don't know what their board looks like. If they had Gibson ranked substantially higher than any O-Linemen I'm fine with the pick.

Re: Redskins Draft Thread
McCaffrey put up over 1,000 yds rushing AND receiving in 2019 and nearly did in 2018 also. Gibson will be used as rb/wr in a similar manner. Football is all about making plays and Gibson does that bigtime. Shore up the oline asap please now.

TE is so weak, I would even wait some more on that. Go get an O-Lineman. Wait on TE. Seems like they're all about the same grade, so grab one late in a lesser value pick. But what the hell do I know? |
