So I wonder if Steelers fans will hammer there team like we hammer our team ( I know there are a few of us that Are ok with the Wentz signing) .. does anyone out there think Trubisky will be better than Wentz .. I think Pittsburg would have taken Wentz if we had not ( the only negative I see with Wentz is his cost ..
I think Mitch and Wentz will probably play pretty similar ball. Both will be up and down. Neither will most likely outshine the other.

McLaurin may not want to stay here folks. He may want to try and play for a better franchise that has a consistent QB.

Scherff said enough is enough. I'm out. He just didn't want to be here and made no bones about it. He left here for the Jags. That is just sad.

Dude is in the cold tub more than Samuel. Terrible signing.

What are we basing this on? What indications do we have that he is unhappy with Wentz?

Lotta folks hating on Scherff here - all Scherff did was make a business decision to get paid. Some folks chase the ring - some chase the money. I'm not gonna hate on Scherff because he most likely decided his prospects were better served being financially secure for life vs. winning a title - there's no indication any title contenders were interested in his services anyways.

We got the most of out him, he served us well when he could play and we paid dearly for his services at the end. I wish him well, hope he stays healthy and has success in Jacksonville (even if team success is unlikely).

Exactly. It's not like Scherff left because he felt the Jags give him a better chance to win a ring.

Dislike. If they got him on a reasonable deal we aren't even gonna get that much in the form of a comp pick. Hope he got big money at least.

We never seem to get compensated for our good players … and we overpay the guys we bring in …

Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style

If I’m an established player like Scherff, I’m not coming back to a team that franchise tagged me twice.

Scherff can chase the ring when he is on the way out of the league. Right now he has a 3 year contract. He is looking to get another contract after this when he will be 33 and still playing at a high level.

The #Bills gave DT Tim Settle a two-year deal with a base value of $9m and a max value of $10.6m. Pretty much what was expected for Settle, who figures to get his chance at more playing time (and perhaps a bigger deal in the future) than he saw in the #Commanders’ deep DL room.

The #Jaguars are giving guard Brandon Scherff a three-year, $49.5 million deal with $30M fully guaranteed and $33M in the first two years.

Confirmed, Schreff absolutely wanted nothing to do with the Skins
