Re: Texans Pre-Game Thread
McKissick to IR. A shame. Hope he recovers fully for next year. That his injury has been recurring is troubling.

Re: Texans Pre-Game Thread
As more than one person has said this is a trap game, and I think it will be a trap. I think we will start out flat and it will be a tight game coming down to a field goal.
Heineken and Thomas need to get it going, they did have a good rapport going, I don’t know if Thomas has lost a step this year or what but he’s not getting many targets, He must not be very healthy, Would be nice to get him a couple of touchdowns today

Washington should be able to run on the Texans. They have one of the worst rush defenses in the league. They should use the same game plan that worked so well against the Eagles.
As long as Washington doesn't have any disastrous turnovers, they should win this game. |

Re: Texans Pre-Game Thread
You can say this in most weeks, but I really believe that this game will tell us A LOT about this team. They arguably should have beat the Vikings, and just took out the undefeated Eagles in prime time on the road - the two "best" teams in the NFC. If they lose to Houston they don't deserve to be in the playoff talk, and we'll likely see Wentz against the Falcons. If they win, the Heinicke train keeps rolling with a chance to make it 5 / 6 with the Falcons coming next, and 6 / 7 going into the late Bye.
Would be quite the turnaround from the first quarter of the season. As much as I'd like to see a win running away, I just can't predict that until I see one, but I do see them coming away with the W. WAS - 23 HOU - 16 |
