WE need to see if Moody can be our guy across a whole season and certainly should get competition for him. But use a draft pick? Seriously?

I mean, we weren't able to find a reliable kicker for at least a decade so at this point, we need to try everything we can do to find a kicker including hosting open tryouts or something. We should even host a try out for people off streets. Just find a damn kicker that we can hold on for years to come.

Here's a question, would you support it if we went after 2 top Edge guys in FA, like Hendrickson and Bosa, in order to free up our first pick for a WR? Sign them to 1 or 2 year deals then draft Tyson, Tate or Lemon?

If we get a FA edge (and Hendrickson would be my choice), I'd rather use pick 7 for Caleb Downs. Those two additions would be really, really helpful for our defense. I think we can get WR help other than at pick 7 -- there will be FAs available that would be solid #2s.

I tend to agree, though I'm a bit torn on whether we'd take Downs or Bailey/Bain if either were still there. But that's not the question; would you support AP and DQ if they decided to take a WR in that scenario?

While we could use that breakout WR and Terry’s eventual replacement; we must focus on defense.

Jayden did pretty good in 24 with Terry and ok Wr’s. We can find better upgrades to the WR room in free agency.

We have to fix as much of the defense as we can. That’s a bigger priority.

A guy who has not received much press adn will probably be available on Day 3 is Cayden Curry who was OHio state's primary edge rusher. He had 9 sacks I think. He might be a good Day 3 add to whoever they taek in teh first round.

To answer the earlier question, I'd be pretty frustrated if they picked a WR at 7 -- our D was 31st in the league and has massive holes everywhere, and at 7, you should expect to get a quality starter. I do not want to become the Bengals with 2 great WRs and no defense. That hasn't really worked well for Cinci, I'd say.

This year the Seahawks, Patriots, Denver and Houston all made it with great defense. None of these teams have a stud QB or vaunted offense. Just average offense but killer defense.
We have to solidify our defense.

Not to burst your bubble, though I wholly agree D still wins championships, but they were not average O's. Pats were 3rd ranked in yds/gm, 2nd pts/gm. Seahawks 8th in yds, 3rd in points. Broncos 10th and 14th. Texans were closest to average out of those 4. Plus the Rams were the best O and one play away from beating the Hawks. O is almost if not as important as D. We have to strengthen both in the coming months, not just D.
