If you don't spend all your money shopping Sunday, that is.

Yup. I got the same - it is great. Unfortunately, it only records the games available on cable. As I am in Baltimore, I don't get the majority of the Redskins games.

But that's okay. I'll BE THERE Sunday!!!

He's 17. Girlfriends come and go. If we older guys can give this guy any good advice it is simply to establish early, in all current and future relationships, that football comes before shopping. Even on birthdays.

Both he and her will be happier later no matter what happens.

Tis' true! I told my soon-to-be wife that I can compromise on just about anything EXCEPT for football and who I pull for! She doesn't like the Redskins, but she HATES the Dallas Cowboys(everybody else in her family is a Cowboys' fan,) so she decide to pick the Jets because she thought they looked better in their uniforms...LOL!!!!!! I'm like, whatever...as long as you realize burgundy and gold flows through my veins!

Trurer words couldn't have been spoken. The problem is, we're not talking about sex, we're talking about SHOPPING! So if the poll question was Skins v. Sex maybe the outcome would not be so one-sided.

hhhmmmm....new poll question?

Re: I'm facing a dilemma (sp)

here are a few words to live by. "Tis better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission"

i've been married for 10 years and my wife knows not to even ask me to do anything on sundays during football season. if your going to piss off your girlfriend it's better to do it now, so that she knows not to even ask you next time. if you give in to her , she will expect you to give in each time.

watch the game, she'll get over it.

Exactly, 16 days a year for three hours. Is that too much to ask??? If/When I have kids, and they have conflicts, thats twhen things will start to maybe take me away from the screen. But they will all be skins fans and wont want to do anything else.
