Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread

Our Secondary is awful. Mark down a Loss against Buffalo and a Loss against NE because of them. Also we are getting the injury bug big time. Hightowers probably out the year. Hello Royster!

I think Austin has the ability to be really good. He's fast and he can catch. I don't know much about Paul.

I was surprised at Paulsen though. Guy seems like he could be a good 2nd strong TE. Makes me worry for Cooley. Wonder if he'll be back next year...

Carolina's running game and Cam's ability to run completely shut down our blitzing.

I agree. Newton was pretty damn good out there today. But jeez I think Tim Ryan has a hard on for the guy. All they did was talk about Newton all damn game long.

Keep Cooley and turn Davis into a WR.

If you guys are bickering about a WR to drop, you can start with Brandon Banks. Guy hasn't done a god damn thing all year. A wasted spot for sure.

Yeah.. Austin catches EVERYTHING. I have yet to see this guy not catch anything around him. He's also fast... This could be his chance to shine with Moss hurt.

Gaffney is just Gaffney.... Average WR.. Should be our #3-#4

Hmm, honestly, I did.

My List:
Giants- win. we suprise them. (done).
Cards- win. their not that great. (done).
Cowboys- loss. their house. (done).
Rams- win. their not that great. (don).
Eagles- win. our house. (fail).
Panthers- win. new QB. not a good team. suprise. (fail).
Bills- win. their not there yet.
49ers- win. no QB. rookie HC.
Dolphins- win. they just suck.
Cowboys- win. our house.
Seattle- win. Seattle sucks.
Jets- loss. Play off team.
Patriots- loss. play off team.
Giants- loss. their house.
Vikes- win. McNabb...nough said.
Eagles- loss. their house.

I could see 11-5. That was a big cushion so if we started losing games we'd have room. What needs to happen now is we need to:

Beat the Cowboys at home.
Beat the Eagles away.
Beat the Jets to make up for one of the other losses.
Beat the Giants in NY to make up for one of the other losses.

and stay the rest of the course with the other teams. the Bills, 49ers, and Seattle will be tougher then expected.

I said at the beginning of the season I could see 11-5 but 10-6 or 9-7 was a better number. I felt this is a better team then 8-8.

The one thing about this team that stands out more than anything is we really don't have a great player. We have good ones, but not a great one. We need some difference makers on both sides of the ball. Especially on offense.

lol I really want Banks to do well and I like the guy, but yeah, he's starting to turn into ARE when returning kicks and punts. But at least ARE was versatile as a receiver. Banks is starting to make me think he's a one trick pony. And the tricks don't seem to be working really well anymore.

Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread

same story every year for a long time now .. a decent defense that shows flashes of greatness.... but lets us down wen it really counts .... an anemic offense with piss poor play calling and time management ... referees showing us zero respect and continuously calling absolute shit games wen we play ... and another losing record prolly... oh the glamorous life of a redskin fan

I agree with all that except the Bills game. They're scary good. Under dog team. And we're playing them in NY. We couldn't beat a crappy Panthers team, we're not gonna beat a rising Bills team.
