Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Seems like the Penn consolation prize but I'm happy we have more size. He can't be worse than anyone else we have.

No thanks!! Talented, but a real jackass going back to his days at Cal (a real prima donna). Yes, JoeRedskin I also dislike some players from Cal/Stanford.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Smoot, would you sign D Jax to an affordable contract?
I think I would, but I think Gruden wants more size at receiver. But I also think he'd also take a guy who could stretch the field for Garcon/Roberts to work more underneath.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
that is a bad questions . . . i think most would sign him to an "affordable" contract . . . problem is, D Jax is not going to sign an "affordable" contract . . . he was bitching earlier this year that his 10.5 million is not enough and wanted more than that already . ..

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
k . . . to a contract that he would sign . . . NO!! D Jax thinks of himself as one of the top # 1's in the league . . . I (and a lot of others), believe him to be a good slot receiver, but not a top notch number 1 for sure . . .

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
It would take a lot of money to bring Jackson here, but I'd rather have him than Kenny Britt. Everyone says, "Well, if Britt could just get it together, he'd be a legit weapon." True, but if it hasn't happened yet, it probably never will. Jackson is a proven threat at WR, and would take RG3's receiving corps to a whole new level. He's not worth anywhere close to 10 million/year, but at 5-7 million/year, it'd be a great signing. If he thinks he's going to get 10 million from anyone, he's got another think coming; he was an excellent fit in Chip Kelly's offense and wouldn't put up 1,300 yards with any other team.

If DJ wouldn't ask for a ton of money I'd want us to snag him in a heartbeat.
