Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Yeah easy to say now that he's willing to give up the $$, let's see what happens when the checks actually stop coming.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Exactly, saying this is your final offer or walking away is part of the strategy. If the Redskins have said no to offers it might get them a better offer. I assume there are several teams interested in Trent.

ON the other hand he HAS made 51 MILLION dollars, so unless he has done seriously dumb shit with his cash (and many a football players have) I doubt he will roll over solely on the basis of lost money. |

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
There is no reason to rush into a trade. We're probably a LT injury on a contending team away from trading Trent. I'm thinking we could get a Round 1 pick and a good young player from a truly desperate team.

Haven't heard anything but I am going out on a limb and saying Trent will be moved this week for a WR

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
I rather trade him, even if he shows up we win 6 or 7 games. I rather win 3 games have a higher pick in the draft and enjoy the fruits of the trade. By the time this team is worth a hoot again Trent will be old and useless.

1 Yes its a weak position but there looks to be several solid guys breaking into the lineup, who loses their spot, assuming Doctson is already gone. 2 Even a receiver like Diggs, who would be the only WR we should consider, what good does it have to have him if the left side cannot give the qb time to throw. 3. Receivers are the worst add in terms of team chemistry, and a star receiver that would be reasonably valued at TWs level is likely going to be a diva to the nth degree. Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
New rumor surfacing, I would be ok with this trade. Tunsil could be a great LT.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Tunsil for Clowney seems like a perfect trade fit to me. I wouldn't be surprised if Miami and Houston did this deal.
