Exactly my point! Can't be mad with this so far. Could have pulled a Vinny like ATL did...

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
if there's one team that'll be ideal for Jimmy Smith it's the Ravens.

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
They need him to help make sure the Bengals don't steal a win or two with AJ Green. Not that I love corners but it's my understanding the Ravens have no one at corner.

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Adding to what others have said about Bowers, I read that many teams believe he's a one contract player. Then again McIntosh was also suppose to be a one contract player.

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Everyone crying over Gabbert, get over it......I personally was not overly impressed with his highlights. If Shanny and Kyle wanted him, they wouldve taken him. Obviously there's something (s) about him that our coaches did not like. Buffalo, Tenn, and SF passed on him, as did we. I doubt you crybabies know more about selecting a QB than our coaches.
Everyone talks about how horrible our QB situation is, but totally forget how f-cking HORRIBLE our WR core was last year. McNabb was far from perfect, but he was throwing to one-dimensional Santana, undrafted FA Armstrong, Roydel Williams, and Joey Galloway....and some of you idiots still expected a Pro-Bowl season. I want a franchise QB as bad as the next man, but I dont want to draft any douche that is there just for the sake of drafting a QB. We need a BEAST. The Shanihans didnt feel he was a beast so we traded down and acquired more picks to try to fill the 500 different holes we have on this team. Stop b-tching like we just passed on Peyton Manning. At least we dont have to spend the next few years calling our QB Gabbert. HTTMFR |
