Agreed, anyone who has a need at QB is going to be gunning for him. A player of his caliber hitting the open market is just crazy.

Alright, the super bowls been over for an hour now. How come we haven't signed Peyton Manning yet?

I think he'll fall to 6 anyway but we would take him if he fell there right?

Is this a serious question? I'm pretty confident it's a joke but even if it is I don't really see the hilarity.

I think the team that may take him is Miami (if they don't do anything else at the QB position before then). They'd have to trade up for him of course. I'm not totally sure any of the teams in the top 5 would draft him. Even if the Browns decide that Colt isn't the answer, I'm not totally sure they think RG3 is.

So anyway, if RG3 is there at #6 for us I would suspect we take him. But I'm not yet 100% sure we will. I have to find out a bit more about how they feel about guys like Tannehill and Foles. I don't think even the team totally knows yet.

So it comes down to Ryan "Clark Kent" Tannehill and Nick "Saban" Foles. I'd prefer RGIII but in all honesty I just want this guy to be good . I'm tired of rolling out garbage every week just to be watching a division rival hoist another SB trophy.

Just two names I put out there as examples. Certainly Cousins and Weeden will be considered too.

I'm 99.9999% positive we are adding 2, if not 3, new QBs this off-season.

I know you don't see the same guy that I do but I think Tannehill is going to be very good.

And I was completely wrong about Cam Newton so I am a QB expert.

You still have to figure out how to fit that under the cap or the league would come down on us like a ton of bricks if we tried to skirt it with something like that.

I think all the talk about Peyton taking little guarteed money all goes out the window once teams start throwing offers at him.

I believe Cousins and Tannehill are very highly regarded by the Skins. But I know they were very disappointed that RT couldn't participate in the Senior Bowl

I think Tannehill could be pretty good but I just hava feeling RGIII and Luck will be top 5 QBs of the next generation.

That's an interesting theory that their decision on drafting Griffin if available at 6 would hinge upon their evaluation of Tannehill or Cousins.

I'm inclined to think that taking Griffin if available at 6 would be a no brainer, and that they would run to the podium smiling at their good fortune.

Imo this regime is not in any position to get cute in the draft when it comes to QB; and passing on Griffin if available at 6 would being trying to get cute.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

Thing about drafting Tannehill. Automatic trick play threat.....or at least half of a trick play. Not sure we have any running backs or receivers that can throw.
