Deep throat was a safety, not a corner. A corner would be pissed at the cornerbacks coach, not the safeties coach. Too much hate on the safeties coach to be anything other than a safety.

unless the safeties coach kept his guys uninformed and told them to play the run all the time... in which case the CBs would be pretty pissed that they never had the safety help they thought they'd have.
