I don't think that you can put that squarely on the shoulders of TC tho. I believe it was a total team effort. CP put the team on his back running the ball, and TC knew Saunder's offense better than JC so he could run it better. Wiht a new O being installed, I look for TC to struggle if placed in the same situation.

Because it wasn't even a rationale opinion to begin with.

Funny how if you aren't a JC critic, you must love him.

It's not quite not black and white.

Can't win, so I'll get off the "short bus"... as you called it.

Every year the "experts" pick Dallas to win the NFC. Every year the "experts" are wrong. The "experts" say they have 13 probowlers on thier roster. Probowl doesn't mean S#!%! It's a stupid popularity contest. They have NO depth behind TO at wideout, Romo CHOKES in big games, they sign overrated players like Tank Johnson and Adam Jones, Roy Williams couldn't cover your grandma and they have a hack head coach! What makes people think they're even gonna win the division?!?!?!

Of course every win (and loss) is a team effort but it was obvious that once TC came in the offense's tempo was much quicker because he could get the ball out on passes which opened things for CP's running. TC wasnt the sole reason for the run but he was absolutely the catalyst.

BTW, TC struggled mightily in preseason which is why IMO he wasnt the starter. It turns out he could run Saunders O better than JC but in preseason it didnt look that way.

My point is, to say that having TC come in for JC is a major downgrade at QB is completely false. The evidence just does not support that prediction.

What makes you think that anyone else will win the East?
You have an opinion on why the Cowboys should not win. How about an opinion on why anyone else will.

Win what?

If you really believe the difference between JC and TC is really 6 games in the W column then you're right, this conversation is over.

When did I say I agreed with that? .. I don't. My argument was about respecting other's opinions when they are different from your own....

I figured since you were bowing out you must have agreed with his take, coupled with your doubt of JC's abilities. My bad.

I respect other's opinions as long as they are logical and rationale and bring something to the table worthy of discussion.

Otherwise it's garbage in, garbage out.

Just because it's not what YOU believe to be logical and rationale doesn't make it garbage. I say let the season tell the story. When/if JC does well then his supporters can blow his critics up, but if he stinks then it's our turn.... I just hope he's more consistent going forward (one way or another) so we aren't always arguing.

It really pains me to say it, but I think the Cowboys have a very good shot at winning the East, but as long as they lose to the Skins at home, I'll remain a happy gal.

Using that logic we might as well let anything and everything fly around here since who's to say what is logical and rationale?

Campbell is the best QB ever in the history of the game. How does that taste. Respect that.

Seriously though, Jsarno and Gtripp addressed this quite well to explain just how garbage it was.
