he met his third wife at a wizard of oz on ice show at the cap centre, they had their first kiss when the cowardly lion first entered.

first wife was the snake.

don't ask about the second

I did everything in my power to not do anything superstitious in relation to the Skins but somehow here I am with 2 or 3 rituals I've been doing since the bye week...

I cant share what they are yet for fear that I'll ruin everything!

So funny. I started doing the same thing I think around the same time. I also have been wearing this Chris Cooley caricature shirt. It remains unwashed. Gross.

I've worn the same Redskins hat that I bought the week of the draft. Haven't washed it. I know I've only had the hat for less than a year but I did all summer yard work with this hat, wear it to work, and it is WORN to say the least.

I used to take a shot at the opening kick off but as a friend of mine said. Griffin has made this team superstition proof.

I'm still not going to change hats until the Skins' season is over in February.

I don't need a superstition. I influence the outcome of the game because I know that players hear me as I scream at the TV.

Re: REDSKIN RITUALS. What weird things do you do to help the 'Skins kick butt on Sundays???

I never ever double logo. For some resson long ago I felt it looked too homerish when I saw Eagles and Jets fans with all their logo-ed apparel and decided I would never look that goofey (IMOHO) I once worn my jersey over a long sleve Skins shirt. Both had the greatest logo in all of sports on them and we lost. I am careful now to never wear those 2 together. So I never wear a hat and jersey or other logo-ed item at the same time on game day ....any other time is ok. I have worn a brown long sleeve shirt under my new RGIII since the streak started so that will remain as my shirt under the jersey....regardless of how hot it gets!
I also at the beginning of each season pull out the hand written in crayon oath my son and I took 12 years ago. He is a sworn Skins fan and livinging in NYG territory is not easy. I said to him as a youngster of 7 that it would be easier to be a Giants fan because he will get to see all of their games and have something in common with 95% of his friends as well as his mom and sister. It was not easy to say that to him but I know how hard it is to be a fan of a team when you are out of their market and did not want him to have to go thru all of that. He promptly went down in the basement and wrote up a contract that we both signed stating we will both be Redskins fans for life. He has been thru the worst of times with the Skins but has never wavered. He is over the moon right now and at 19 is ready for some great seasons to come.
The only other thing we do is rub a mini Larry Brown #43 autographed helmet for luck. Over all the years it really was never a consistant poitive outcome inducing ritual but in deference to one of the greatest Redskins of all time and my childhood favourite we still do it.
So this Sunday there will be no double logoing, we will revierw the oath aghain and rub the helmet on our way to victory over the Seahawks.

I don't watch any of the pre game coverage on any network. I will listen to Redskins pre game on ESPN radio app since I live in Texas.

Let's go! No jersey, no phone, no gear nearby! I'll put it on at the half if they look like they need a boost....the things we do.
