Cry babies (Tennessee)... seriously, he had no intention of resigning with them. This reminds me of one of those stalker x boyfrieds who cannot get over the fact that your the guy banging "his" chick now.

It amazes me how hard the Titans are pursuing this.

Re: PFT rumor: TITANS TO PURSUE TAMPERING CHARGES AGAINST REDSKINS?
Actually, they are not pursuing this, even Redskins media nemesis Mike Florio is saying that that the Titans attempts are futile, since they are not filling any tampering charges (flat out accusing the Redskins).
My question is this, why doesn't the league punish the agents. It takes two for a dialogue to get started, one is the team and the other is the agent. You start fining these agents, I bet tampering would end (or do some other extensive punishment).

Its just Tennessee's way of whinning about losing a big player. Hats off to FO on this one. They set out hard to bring Haynesworth to DC. I applaud the move!

Yeah. That's about it. Like Ruhskins said, they haven't actually filed charges. Apparently they don't have any proof and just want the NFL to look into it.

Re: PFT rumor: TITANS TO PURSUE TAMPERING CHARGES AGAINST REDSKINS?
I was wondering if these allegations were causing a problem with a possible trade for Cutler. I was thinking that if they decided to take a draft pick that we traded to Denver, that would realy cause problems. I was not sure if it was even possible, for that to happen.

Re: PFT rumor: TITANS TO PURSUE TAMPERING CHARGES AGAINST REDSKINS?
Everytime I want a good laugh I come here. It keeps cropping up. LOL. One minute the Titans are screaming foul, but we have no proof. Then they scream foul, we have proof. Now they are screaming foul, we have no proof but we would like the NFL to look into it so we can either get AH back to save the team or a draft pick.
I say it all boils down to this.....If they truly valued AH as a player and for what he did for the team they would have made him an offer he could not refuse prior to FA or better yet match what the Skins offered. The second issue comes down to ....Did AH want to stay in Tenn. or was he ready to leave. No matter how much money they offered him, if he did not want to be there anymore he was going to leave no matter what. Which is part of the reason I believe he also wanted to test the market. So as a team the Titans have a couple of things to think about. 1-Did AH truly want to be a Titan, which if there is any doubt I would say screw him and move on. and.... 2-The Titans were farther under the CAP then the Skins, which means there was no reason they could not have given him more money to stay. The Titans simply need to let it go. Will they truly know if AH was willing to stay? who knows. and it is obviouse the Titans didn't think they needed him in their plans as much as the Skins did or they would have paid him. They got him on the cheap the first go around and they knew that if he played well they would have to pay him and didn't. |
