Yankees vs Red Sox ALCS

The Red Sox don't exactly have slouches at bat. During the season they had more runs scored, more homeruns, more RBIs, and a higher batting average than the Yankees.

I agree, but what my point was that everyone knew that the pitching was a big question mark for the Yanks. They had no left handers, and the so called "set-up" man for Mariano stunk up the joint the last 3 games.

Boston flat out beat the Yankees in classic fashion. I give them all the credit. But let's remember one thing.....the Red Sox were picked to win it all at the beginning and they came through. The Yankees had a chance to put them away and they shit the bed.

I'm not worried about it anyways, because the Red Sox are going to get spanked by the Cardinals.....

Yanks....we'll be back next year and everyone will hate us again.

I can't feel too sorry for spankee fans, not when they'll just reload in the offseason with pretty much any FA they want.

I'll be rooting for the Sox, I lived in MA for a while plus it will just be the ultimate salt in the wound for the Yankees.

I'm just pickin on ya Redskins_P, I admit I'm not a huge baseball fan I just like seeing the Yankees lose. It's not like the Yankees have much to be ashamed about, what do they have like 26 championships?

I know man....it's cool. I'm not taking it personal (well, I was at first). Trust me I'm used to it. There are mad Sox fans here at work, so I've been getting picked on all week and the only thing I can say to them is win 26 then talk to me.

Amen! But we're 4 Sox wins away from never being able to use that phrase again. Its been a rough week at work, but the Sox fans have many years of frustration and I understand I had to face the music. But the Yankees will be back. After all it would be no fun for the haters unless we're there to root against.

URGH!! Game 1 loss, even though the SOX did everything to keep us in it! This sucks. AT least its not one and done, its a long series ahead... GO STL!!!

I saw that last night. I was hoping the Cards would come back and beat em. I hate the Red Sox.
