Re: Snyder Hires Shanahan Not the GM
Put on your shit kickers when you go to ES, cause you'll have to wade through a bunch of it to find anything worthwhile.

Now contrast this with Shanahan/Allen who have been out of the game, but still intimately involved, for a year. We're bringing in one of the top young offensive coordinators in the game. We're reportedly looking at bringing in an excellent and highly regarded defensive coordinator, which is the only parallel to Gibbs with Williams. I don't think there's any comparisons in the Gibbs/Shanahallen hires.

Re: Snyder Hires Shanahan Not the GM
Gibbs won with different QB's ,Shanahan has won with only one QB....1 very good QB.
Question ,has a Head Coach who has won a Super bowl left and gone to another team and ever won a Super bowl again? |

Lombardi would have if he didn't die so early. Besides doesn't mean it can't happen. All you have to do is make the playoffs then go from there. Just because a coach hasn't had repeat success doesn't mean it will never happen.

Re: Snyder Hires Shanahan Not the GM
Gibbs also won Super Bowls in the pre-cap era, when the QB's supporting cast was in less year-to-year flux.

Re: Snyder Hires Shanahan Not the GM
You knew the answer which is why you asked the question. Another question. Can a team favored to win it's division after signing a ton of defensive FA's come back from laying down and giving up halfway through the season? I await your answer G-man.

Not sure where to put it but Charlie Weis has agreed to be KC's OC.
Weis agrees to become Chiefs' offensive coordinator under Haley
