technically, i think you'd wake up friday morning and it'd all be a done deal.

We want our FO to be considering all of the options and available players to improve the Skins whole team.
i agree. as long as the defensive players we sign don't somehow prevent us from signing offensive linemen, then why not fill most, if not all, of our defensive needs through free agency?

even better. I wonder if we'll sign a Dansby or a top-tier FA Thursday night/Friday morning.
ever hear of charles barkley? he was listed at 6'6" but probably wasn't even that tall. Why do you think they called him the Round Mound of Rebound.

And I'm not saying Peppers would've been a NBA HOFer but I'd bet he'd be a double-double guy (12ppg/10 rebound average) which is pretty good.
It's been a long time, but I remember Peppers playing b-ball at UNC. He was a solid rebounder & post defender, had a nice jump hook, but not much of an offensive game otherwise. Being drafted in the 2nd round of the nba draft is analogous to the rounds 6-7 of the nfl, if that. Chances of making a roster are under 50%.

Peppers might've become a 12/10 guy as you say in the nba, but not without a lot of offseason work & improvement. He would've had a hard time making a roster as a rookie on most teams IMO. By comparison, he was a sure 1st rounder in the nfl draft.

I agree it's frustrating not hearing rumors on the OL FA front, but maybe that's a good thing and shows the FO will be addressing this early and often in the draft (although hopefully not at the expense of getting Clausen). I wouldn't be upset with Okung and Pouncey/Charles Brown as our 1st and 2nd.

Ah the memories. I remember last year on FA Eve, listening, and even I think at 1am, and the Skins were not going to get anyone, then turning M & M on at 6am and hearing the top of the hour news that we signed AH. How GREAT is Redskins Offseason. (I would trade it all for a shiny new trophy!)

I wouldn't mind hearing the rumor that Nick Kaczur has not reached terms with New England and would like to have a chat with Bruce Allen.

I think the reason why we hear so much from the defensive guys right now becuase they are top tier guys.

The offensive guys will come. They freaking better or there is no reason to spen so much damn money on the d without an offense.

Pretty sure he'll go for that considering how much he loved the franchise tag in Carolina.

I think Dirtbag359's response was supposed to be sarcastic. After all, getting franchised is basically a 1-year deal.
